I love this office and staff, they truly cater to kids. They make the visit fun, professional and efficient. My kids are treated with respect and told exactly what is going to happen. My kids have had routine checkups, fillings and extractions, all were explained clearly and I was able to join them in the treatment room if needed. read more

Dr. Tasker is amazing. Our children are at ease with him, and he genuinely cares about his patients. We had a less than satisfactory experience with his staff, but Dr. Tasker made sure to reach out, apologize, and go the extra mile to make sure we were heard, felt valued, and knew that his practice is "a people over policy" business. Not only a phenomenal dentist, but truly a good person. read more

If you want to wait hours on end to see someone, please come here. We have had 3 appointments in the past 3 months (two kids), and we have well exceeded over 2 hours of waiting. We walked out after waiting 50 min for our scheduled appointment and being told it wouldn't be seen for another 15 plus minutes. Both previous appointments were 45 min waits each. Ever since this new doctor started the place has gone down hill badly. When the doctor did finally see one of my kids it was very careless and rushed. read more

Such a great team! All were so kind and nice. Dr Tasker is awesome and my son's dental hygienist was wonderful. Thank you for taking such good care of my son! Will definitely bring my daughter here when she's old enough. read more

Caring staff, clean facility, top technology, easy appointment scheduling, good experience for kids.

I have really enjoyed our time with Dr. Rawson! My two children (1 and 8) feel very comfortable with her and her staff. She's gentle and quick, which is really helpful with a squirmy 1 year old. I don't feel like our family is being swindled out of any money with pointless procedures or any unnecessary extras. Dr. Rawson is very straightforward and is also a parent of young children, so it's nice to have someone who can treat my children with the same understanding that she would treat her own. read more

Awesome Dentist, friendly and kind staff, very satisfied. We loved all the hand crafted art on the walls. It's a very comfortable space for both adults and children. read more

This office used to be great! Staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved bringing our children here. Unfortunately all the welcoming staff have left, we miss Dr. Shaw, Dr. Rawson, Nancy and all other staff. The new staff are not very welcoming, don't talk, and don't welcome the family as much as the past staff used to . read more

From the front office, to the hygienist, to the dentist, everyone was kind, polite, thoughtful. We will definitely return, and strongly recommend this place. read more

Rawson and her staff are wonderful. My child has had issues with his mouth/teeth his whole life and they deal with him so kindly and patiently. I hesitated to write a review about them because I don't want it to be hard to get an appointment. Ha ha. But they deserve lots of accolades. Highly recommend. read more

Had an absolutely amazing experience here. We went for my daughter's first (1-yr) checkup. The staff was very friendly, very informative, and made sure that my daughter had an absolutely wonderful experience. Everything is kid friendly and you can tell that they have a lot of experience in pediatrics. They showed us how to brush her teeth, which she amazingly let them do! We look forward to coming back for her future appointments. Thank you! read more

Four years later and we are still seeing Dr. Shaw and the amazing support staff at ABQ Pediatric Dentistry! Hands down the best, most caring and compassionate dentists for kids. Dr. Shaw loves what she does and educates parents and kids on how to take care of your teeth. Marie and Danielle provide excellent costumer service and Suzanne and Denise are loving dental hygienist. Thank you everyone at ABQ Pediatric Dentistry!! read more

I love Dr Rawson and the team at ABQ Pediatric Dentist. My kiddos are super uncomfortable at doctor's offices and dental offices, but this really is a kid friendly environment. My husband is a physician and I'm a pharmacist so we are super picky about who cares for our kids medical needs. Dr Rawson is wonderfully kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her. And Suzanne is a great dental hygienist especially for shy kids. read more

Both of my girls where in tears when Dr. Rawson filled their cavities. When my first daughter was uncomfortable I didn't make much of it and gave Dr. Rawson another chance. But, when my second daughter got work done; she was also in tears. This has never been the case before when my teenage daughters have been to the dentist. When I saw Dr. Rawson's hand excessively shaking to put in the second shot on the side that already received a shot, which I have never seen before...that much shaking and my daughter welting up with tears. She kept going. Needless to say we are no longer patients of ABQ Pediatric Dentistry! read more

We love Dr Rawson and her staff. They are always kind and professional. We are not just a number to their office; they always remember my kids and ask very specific questions about them and their activities. We highly recommend them. read more

Dr. Rawson and her staff have been wonderful with my two young children (1 and 3). They put the kids at ease and make everything as comfortable as possible. They do an incredible job of showing them the tools and explaining the processes in the most kid friendly way. The front office staff are friendly and the entire office gets an A++++ for communication. I'm so glad we found this practice! read more

Here's the thing, if your kid has a cavity and you just need it fixed and don't care how she might be okay. This approach might be good for fixing an air conditioner, but this is a child's mouth. She will NOT let the parent go back with their child when she is working on them period. As a parent I find this disturbing to say the least. There is no way to see how she is treating them or what she is doing, and the drugs have an amnesiac effect so you can't even ask your kid how it went. On top of that she asks, no tells mothers to stop breast feeding and bottle feeding at one year. When told that we had no intention of following that advise (the World Health Organization recommends two years of nursing) she didn't drop it. I found this to be extremely invasive and off-putting. Don't waste your time with her. read more

My 4 year old really loves it here. They have a lot of little surprises to make it fun for the kids. The staff is very friendly and patient with the little ones. read more

Everything is new and a first time experience with your first child. I knew once my son turned one I needed to find a pediatric dentist. I am not from Albuquerque so I Google and Yelp to search and read reviews about a lot of different business. It also you become very picky about what happens in your child's life. So let get to it... I found Dr. Shaw's office because my son loves watching PBS. So then I decided to look up her office. When I called the receptionist was very kind and helpful. When I arrived to the appointment all of the staff was awesome. The lobby area is so cute with the rocket ship. She has tablets and learning toys to keeps kids occupied while they wait. Our wait wasnt very long at all we were called back before I even finished paperwork. During appointment I was given clear instructions on taking care of my child's teeth and how to help him and when to transition from they different types of cups to keep his teeth healthy. I love how I was told if I have any questions or concerns about my sons oral health or he hits his mouth and hurts his teeth dont hesitate to call and make an appointment to make sure everything is ok, just based on that I would recommend Dr. Shaw's. read more

I cannot recommend this office, Dr. Audrey and her staff enough! My 7 year old was TERRIFIED with an extreme amount of anxiety over having to get a cavity filled. Our general dentist recommended ABQ Pediatric Dentistry because of the anxiety and the need for specialized pediatric care. Every single person in ABQ Pediatric Dentistry has been professional, knowledgeable, gentle but most of all, extremely caring towards not only my very scared not so cooperative son, but also his anxiety-filled mother. The office is clean and professional while still be kid-friendly (but not in an obnoxious "kid-friendly" way, meaning soothing colors vs. a circus look). Every detail is thought of to make kids feel comfortable, from the waiting room with a kids movie on, to the chair with the leg support cushion, to the instruments that are obviously kid-sized, to the iPad over the chair that the kids can choose a movie to relax to. They do not rush the appointment at all and took a long time to explain each instrument to my son, letting him hear what it would sound like and feel like while explaining what it did so the unknown wasn't so scary anymore. When my son was crying (out of fear when we first arrived), Dr. Audrey took the time to hold his hand and do breathing exercises with him, which made a huge difference for him. The office staff are very knowledgeable with working with insurance, including filing through both insurance companies my son is covered under, and kept me abreast of the coverage details and estimate, even before we arrived for the appointment. No stressful time for me, dealing with insurance with this office! They are wonderful with communication via email, text messages and phone calls and actually do follow through with calling you off the 'cancellation list' when an appointment opens up. I honestly cannot say one negative thing about our experience. My only regret is not finding them sooner for my kids! If you have a child in ABQ or the surrounding areas, do yourself and your kids a favor and call for an appointment. You will be shocked at the difference this professional business makes. Thank you ABQ Pediatric Dentistry! read more

I love Dr. Shaw. Dr. Shaw is one of the nicer dentists that you'll meet. Dr. Shaw is very good at what she does. Before she does anything she makes sure that you are okay with the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Shaw to anyone with kids! The facility is clean, the staff is lovely and Dr. Shaw is wonderful!

Considering they deal with children, a few of the staff could be friendlier. Ultimately though, I love that they all seem committed to making sure my children end up with great teeth and do a good job. I didn't like that the children go by themselves for fillings, but I allowed it and it was fine. My pediatrician whose son is now grown recommended her. Overall I am happy. I had tried other places and they were HORRIBLE so this place is nice to find. read more

My son graduated from high school this year. When I look over his graduation photos I notice what a great smile he has. I can't help but think this is due to the treatment he had as a child at Dr. Shaw's office. When he was young she diagnosed a cross bite. She recommended a special retainer that she was able to take care of at her office. It corrected his cross-bite and he never needed braces. Thanks Dr.Shaw! Your insightful diagnosis many years ago gave our son a handsome smile and great self-confidence. read more

Our family loves Dr. Shaw and the entire staff. They take the stress out of going to the dentist. I have 4 boys and one inparticular has trouble with shots, and having people work on him. We our raising our grandson. He came to live with us when he was 3 1/2, still on a bottle, rarely had brushed his teeth and had some very bad experience with a doctor to the point he would freak out just going into a Dr. office for 1 of our appointments. We found Dr. Shaw and she and her staff were amazing! We couldn't figure out how they did it, but from the first day we took Will, he wasn't scared! They had a lot of work ahead of them and now 4 years later Will is still excited when he has a dentist appointment? He loves these folks as much as we do! They make Will feel like he's their favorite... then we talked with other kids and folks there, and they get the same special treatment! We are so thankful to have found! read more

Dr. Shaw and her staff are WONDERFUL! The front desk staff are SO sweet and friendly, and VERY easy to work with. Dr. Shaw and her assistants are very kind and gentle, and relate very well with all the kids whom they see. They always take the time to thoroughly answer all the questions that we as parents have, and make both the children and the parents feel very comfortable, welcome, and at home. My daughter has been going to Dr. Shaw since she was very little, and now, at age 18, still loves having Dr. Shaw as her dentist. We really wish that Dr. Shaw also treated adult patients! read more

The dental assistance are WONDERFUL, very sweet and personable (just what you want for a CHILD!!!) and Dr. Shaw explains what she is doing and what needs to be done, doenst talk down and my kids LOVE her! The office is very kid friendly with books, rocketship video games, kindles and IPADS, enough to keep everyone busy! I love that my kids are able to walk back alone (who doesnt need a bit of alone time) and when they need to go over things I am called back as well.
