NIGHTMARE!!! as the review i just read stated, he is COMPLETELY unreliable and they will make up any number of lies to cover his butt as to why. i've heard the mugging story myself a few times. he DOES care about his patients when he's high and when he needs money. other than that, he can't be bothered. there are NO house calls, that is a myth and a crock. you will wait for hours upon hours, that is if he shows up at all, you will only get your care if he's in the mood or there. in fact he will even leave while you are there and you will be told you can't be seen. he doesn't listen to you, he will just ramble on and on about whatever he wants to talk about, that could be anything, none of it having to do w/you, your condition or medicine. he also has a ton of "friends" that come in whom receive favoritism in their care. his friends can get whatever they want, whereas the simple "patients" have to wait, suffer and be exposed to his whims.
the staff is okay though i feel sorry for them that they have to put up w/his shenanigans and tell lies for him. you can have an appt scheduled and bust your butt to get there just to find out he's not there, or doesn't feel like seeing you or he's not coming in. no one will call you to tell you this is the case, or to reschedule you. no one will even say they are SORRY that you dropped your life to go to his office for nothing.
he also is arrogant, seems misogynistic (from what i've heard and witnessed) and is full of $*#&!!!
he CAN be a good doctor but that's completely hit and miss. i have heard from sooo many people: in his office, at the pharmacy, other random places: CRAZY stories about him, though i have lived and witnessed them myself.
as i said, IF he's there and in a good mood (see: high) AND/OR he wants and needs your money, then you're in luck. he can be very good at what he does, he can give you the care you need, but he can also completely leave you in the lurch.
so it's just a matter of chance whether you get care (at all) and courtesy as well.
IF he were to be more professional, i.e. show up for his appointments AND give you the care you need EVERY time you need it, it would be okay, but that is not the case.
so the bottom line is: do you need or want a doctor that you cannot rely on whatsoever??
what if you are on medication that is life or death? and you have to wait on him to show up or be in the right mood? well, then you're going to die before you get that medication. read more
