At his old office, one dentist told me I needed work on a tooth. Treatment was $2,000. I got lucky because just at that time, I found Dr. at his new office on Central Park. Hallelujah! I made an appointment and he took a lot of X-rays to make sure his assessment was correct. Nothing was wrong with my tooth. He could have done "whatever " and made $2,000, but he did not! Called to see if they accepted my insurance and they did and easily scheduled an appointment. Got to the office and to my surprise, the waiting area is empty! If you have been to any medical offices in chinatown, you would now it is packed all the time. Didn't even have to wait and was seen right away as scheduled. There was a dental assistant who took all my x-rays and if it is your first time, there is a lot! She was very nice and understanding and informed me that if I needed a break from the x-rays to let her know. After the x-rays, I was seen by Dr. Song. Dr. Song was amazing! He performed a gum analysis, oral and neck cancer screening that was touching the inside and outside of my mouth and the sides of my neck, and the tongue. Such thorough examinations for the first visit and worth the time for the examination and cleaning. Love that they gave goggles for me to wear because water always splatters for cleaning. Overall, an amazing experience and look forward to my future visits for my bi-annual cleanings.
