Losing a family member is never easy but they made us feel so at ease putting our loved ones in their hands. They helped us from start to finish! There's a nice area for the viewing/ memorial and then the crematory is just steps away. You don't have to drive anywhere else. Everything is done right there. They checked up on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. My family is Buddhist and we did a few days of ceremony and they were so accommodating. Also, if your family is Vietnamese and need interpretation, nicks wife who also works there is Vietnamese and she was so helpful. Again, do not go anywhere else! We've had family who had their funeral service held at other places in Lafayette or Maurice but they paid much more and had to travel from viewing location to crematory. You can get everything done here! They are so genuine and professional. I believe theres another funeral home/crematory nearby, make sure you go to CYPRESS FUNERAL HOME! They're located in Maurice! So conveniently next to Abbeville and Lafayette!

We had a impossible situation that couldn't have been handled anywhere else and at Greene funeral home they came up with everyday possible to get my mother's husband buried and taken card of. If I could give 1 star I would. Pauline displayed so much compassion the day we went to plan the…read morememorial for my sister. Other than constantly answering the phone during our conversation while planning the memorial she seemed helpful. We planned the memorial for a Saturday so family out of town could be there, we paid extra for that which was understood. From the time the services started Pauline seemed very agitated, the ac in the kitchen didn't work, it was really hot in the funeral home and when we mentioned it to her, her reply was that everyone keeps going in and out. It's a funeral home, of course everyone goes in and out. She wasn't very polite with anyone. One of my daughters paid for some of the laminated memorial cards, when she went to ask for them Pauline had given them to my sisters (who the memorial was for) daughter and then replied that she would have to go get them from her. As if anyone would go to her and ask for them back. So she had to purchase more in order to get the ones she had already paid for. A couple days later Pauline calls my brother in law insisting some of the kids damaged her flower bed and he needed to take care of it. This is a husband of 40 yrs grieving for his wife, and she insisted he take care of the flower bed. I reached out to her asking for proof of it happening by someone at our memorial, which she admitted she had none but insisted it wasn't that way before And either someone could take care of it or she would invoice my brother in law. So my son in law went to take care of it, it wasn't even the flower bed, it was a drainage thing on side the cement that she says one of the children there dug up. He fixed it but that could've happened by anyone stepping on it. I spoke to Pauline numerous times once the memorial was planned, she had my number, but instead of reaching out to me about the situation she reached out to a grieving husband causing more stress on him.
