Kudos to Dave Easterby and his team!! I am on the Board of Directors of our homeowners association in Mammoth and as such have had many interactions with Dave. Dave has provided me with excellent information and a good education on the details of the various components of the insurance plan for our condo complex. With Dave, you can understand what he is saying because he is so patient!! I frequently stop in to ask questions and he is always available, welcoming and just such an easy person to talk with. Since he has been in Mammoth, he has attended each yearly annual homeowners association meeting at our condo complex, and has provided our new (and sometimes old) owners with information about all news and updates relating to protecting their investment insurance wise. Our owners love him!! He is so warm, engaging and such an important part of our Mammoth family. Mammoth has benefitted from his presence in our town. I never leave Mammoth without stopping by to say hello to Dave and his team!! read more

Small town feel with large company backing. This describes Dave's agency. He and his team are not only friendly when you walk into the agency, but also when you see them around town. As a small community, community involvement and support is important. Dave shows his dedication and commitment to our community through membership in Mammoth Lakes Rotary and Mammoth Lakes Firesafe organizations, and supports many local community events. As for his services, Dave always makes himself available to review service offerings to ensure my needs are best being met. For example, I was concerned that the limits on my homeowners policy would not cover the high cost of replacement for my home if a catastrophe happened. We reviewed the old coverage and determined an increase was needed. I can sleep easier now. Dave shows sincere concern with my needs vs just being out there to issue a policy and make a buck. Go with Dave for your insurance and financial needs. You will not be disappointed. read more

I've been working with Dave and his staff for about two and a half years, with an emphasis on insurance options, strategies, and mitigations in a wildland-urban interface (WUI). Their combined knowledge and willingness to help me better understand the challenges faced by his clients has been significant. Dave also donates time to the Mammoth Lakes Firesafe Council, and is helping me to close the gap between homeowner mitigations on and around the home and my efforts (the Fire Chief), to work with national risk-rating organizations to recognize those mitigations in their policy renewals and premiums to homeowners. There is no direct benefit to Dave's local business, he simply understands the big picture for Mammoth residents and supports the work - I suspect he gives the same professional attention to his clients. read more

In 2019 our rental property suffered a major fire witch left us in shock. Fortunately nobody was injured. Dave was our first call. He met us there the next morning to survey the damage and immediately put the wheels in motion to begin the long road to re building. Sue the adjuster came from out of town the following Monday and never for a moment had us wondering how State Farm would perform. The first thing she did was cut us a check for the next two months rent. 10 more months of rent were to follow. There was no haggling, hang ups or delays between State Farm and our rebuilding. We're so grateful for Dave, Sue and everyone at State Farm who expedited our claim. I would recommend Dave and State Farm without hesitation. LIKE A GOOD NEIGHBOR, STATE FARM WAS THERE! read more

We are longtime State Farm customers with both home and auto policies, and over thirty-plus years we've worked with several different agents. None of them have provided the amazing level of service that Dave Easterby and his team do. Whether it's claim, a new policy, or just a question about existing coverage, Dave and his team go above and beyond to make every contact friendly, positive, and efficient. And when it came time to find a MediGap policy, Dave personally sat down with me and reviewed my options with State Farm and other carriers. Needless to say, I chose State Farm. Dave Easterby and his team are focused on customer service regardless of the issue, and we are very fortunate to have an agent of his caliber here in our small town. read more

The professionals at Dave Easterby's agency provide superior service. I have been a client for over 20 years. When our house burned down in Napa in 2017 State Farm was there for us 100% with no hassle and we were able to quickly rebuild our home. Just recently one of our properties was rezoned to be in a flood zone, and Sam Kasis went beyond the call of duty to get us flood insurance so we were not forced to take a policy mandated by our lender that would have been 13.6 times the cost! I don't know how emphatically I can say it : these are good people who will bend over backward to make sure your property insurance needs are met. Bravo Dave and your entire team! read more

Just had a great experience dealing with Sam Kassis at Dave Easterby's office. We are moving to the area, building a house and living in a rental until it is complete. Lots of insurance to arrange from the other side of the country (we are currently in Massachusetts). Kim was knowledgeable, responsive, fun to talk to and extremely efficient. Not only did she sort out everything out quickly, but the quotes were excellent and we felt welcomed to the area. She has certainly won our business. Thanks Sam! read more

Great customer service! A couple years ago I had quite a few policies from several insurance companies, auto, home, rentals, life, rec vehicles, that I had acquired over the years. When my 28 year old Geico auto policies kept creeping up year after year, I decided to check with State Farm. Found out that the bundling you always hear about, really does pay off. Just moved my last policey for a second home over to State Farm. Yes there was substantial savings. Sam made the process easy and smooth. read more

She answered all of my questions and worked with me to get the best coverage and price. This was a big move for me given I had been with another insurance company for 30+ years.
