David Brenton's team does outstanding work. They truly care about their clients. The listings are very clear and the photography is excellent, so you aren't wasting time looking at a lot of houses you really aren't interested in or showing your house to prospective buyers who don't really want what you're selling. Best of all, they listen to you, make great recommendations, and take a lot of the mystery out the home buying and selling experience. They also have a free moving truck they loan to you! read more

I don't think I could recommend this Realtor. He specializes in listing your home, not selling it. The staff was, in my opinion, not very enthusiastic about selling my home. Of course the economy fell out during this period, so that had something to do with it, but they did not bring in one potential customer. All of our viewings came from other agents whose clients saw the house or recommended it. You think you are getting David Brenton to sell your house, but you get a junior agent. In my case, I got an agent who could have cared less about keeping me informed or chasing sales leads. Several people were interested in buying, but this agent acted as if she was bothered to deal with the issue. I can't recommend this agent or any of his junior agents. read more

We recently used David Brenton to sell our old home and purchase a new one. Selling our old home went smoothly. David sent his photographer out to our home and took photos of all the rooms. It was overcast the day of the photo appointment, so the photographer came back on a sunny day and re-shot the exterior photos. David used yard signs to direct potential buyers to our home every weekend, and the photos showed up on many real estate websites. Our home sold after three months on the market. Buying our new home was an enjoyable experience. We worked with David to figure out what we were looking for (and with his mortgage rep to figure out what we could afford) before going out and viewing at least ten homes. We found a home that we fell in love with and wrote an offer. David helped us negotiate and we got a very good deal on our new home. Overall we were very pleased with our experiences working with David Brenton and will call him the next time we go to buy/sell a home. read more

I would be hard pressed to recommend this realtor. They did a number of things that I was underwhelmed with starting with giving unrealistic appraisal of my home. When asked if the price I was considering asking was too high I was told no, it would sell quickly. The sale took five months. In the listing time I received NO feedback from showings. I was told I should have the entire inside repainted, when I said why should I as no one had even been looking at the property I found out it had had 31 showings! They blamed a glitch in the system... I opted not to have the inside painted and guess what? I got a low bid offer. I accepted the offer knowing there were updates and repairs that needed addressing. When the inspection report came back with a list of repairs/updates needed they asked for another reduction in the price. My answer was still no as I had already agreed that the house needed attention, I thought accepting an offer $12,500 under asking was enough of a concession. I understand that they were the buyers rep also, could have mentioned that the buyer worked for David Brenton. Last but not least, when I was cleaning out the property (my mother had passed away) I had several pieces of furniture in the garage for the Salvation Army to pick up. I was assured that someone from their office would be there for them to meet the movers. I got a call from the Salvation Army pick-up team that no one was there. I texted Brenton and was told not to worry about it that he would take care of it. Two weeks later when I came back to check on the property the stuff was still there! read more

I could not be happier with my experience with David Brenton's Team! Everyone I worked with seemed to have a great deal of experience, and I felt prepared for each step of the process. They were all very helpful and trustworthy. I felt as if my experience was the most important thing to each person every step of the way. They communicate very well, especially to the first time home buyer like myself. They did everything possible to make sure we closed on the set date, even staying with me until 8pm when closing was schedule for 1pm.
