Beyond exceptional. This is the place to be for quality…read morecare, and an experience that you will hold onto for a lifetime. It is very warm and welcoming. The front desk staff is always friendly and smiley and makes you feel comfortable.

Avoid this practice if you value transparency, continuity of care, or basic respect…read more I was a patient at MindSpa, specifically with Beth Halprin APRN and had what I can only describe as one of the most confusing, disorganized, and emotionally harmful experiences I've ever had with a mental health provider. After disclosing trauma, I was given a diagnosis I was never told about directly. I later found out this diagnosis was documented in my file -- undisclosed, uncollaborated, and unmentioned during sessions. I was then abruptly discharged without a taper plan, treatment transition, or any written explanation. Multiple staff members I spoke to were confused or hostile when I followed up. Calls went unanswered. Promises of a return call were broken. One staff member admitted the person I was told to contact might no longer work there -- then panicked and hung up. I've now formally requested my full medical records, internal and external communications, and MindSpa's internal policies multiple times -- with no response. This has prevented me from safely transitioning to a new provider. I am now running out of prescribed medication while navigating divorce, unemployment, and serious life changes -- all worsened by MindSpa's abandonment of care. I'm preparing to file a formal ethics complaint with the Florida Department of Health. I've made this clear to them. They have not responded in writing. If this review disappears, I'll repost it and add more detail. I'm not being dramatic -- I'm being factual. Patients deserve better than silence and gaslighting. And I will not be quiet about it.

I contacted this office because someone referred me to Dr. Ellinger for an autism diagnosis for my…read moredaughter. The secretary was unprofessional and rudely said "I'm gonna have to call you back" and interrupted me while I was speaking and then called me back hours later. When I told her (again) that my daughter needs to be evaluated for autism she said "Oh, I don't know if Dr. Ellinger will even see you if it's just a diagnosis. He probably won't want to deal with the paperwork." WHAT? How extremely unethical, rude, and insensitive. I'm calling to tell you I'm concerned that my daughter has autism and you tell me that the "doctor" doesn't want to do the paperwork? She said she'd call me back to confirm and HOURS LATER she called back to tell me that he would indeed not see my daughter and that I'm on my own. I have a PhD in psychology and I'm DISGUSTED that a "doctor" would actually turn away a child in need for selfish, money hungry reasons. Do yourself a favor and find a different psychologist. They're a dime a dozen (I'm allowed to say that since I'm a psychologist myself).

He makes useful, productive suggestions which started to change my life immediately. I have the utmost respect for him. Dr Ellinger gave us effective tools to deal with adult ADHD without medication. He gets right into the issue and offers amazing advice. He helped both my husband and I with issues that have been in our marriage for years. His office staff was friendly and quick to get me an appointment. They always return calls. I have never waited more than 10 min. I cant brag about him enough. He is an outstanding doctor and i am blessed to have had the chance for him to work his magic in my life.
