Prices were higher than expected and everyone was trying to sell me on a 3D design which I didn't really need nor did I want to spend more money on. Obadiah understood the look I was going for and produced a straight-forward drawing with dimensions and very reasonable quote after our first phone call. Best of all he was able to complete the project way before the others. He sources his pavers locally from Nitterhouse in Chambersburg which made it easy to check out the colors in person. He was honest about his experience on past projects and that Miller Hardscapes was a newer business. He has 7 years prior experience working for another local hardscaping firm. I was home while he and his team completed the project and was very impressed with their thoroughness and hard work. They worked long days and got so much accomplished including proper grading, tamping, etc... Miller Hardscaping is a great option because Obadiah and his team do solid work, are straight forward, priced well, and produce an awesome product. I'm already considering them for other potential landscaping/hardscaping projects and recommending to friends and neighbors.

I saw his truck at the neighbors again on 5/5/2022. As of today, 5/6/2022 I still have not received a call back. This does not speak well for a business to not return a potential customers call. Needless to say we hired another landscaper to do this big job which will cost about $2,000. I would NOT recommend this business/person to anyone. Simply terrible!!!

Chet has amazing bed-side manner paired with master level expertise. Due to the placement of the 20x25 concrete pad, drainage was an important consideration. He worked well with his excavator (who was also very skilled-Don) and they were able to work with the existing drainage relief in place already at my home as well as create more of drainage to accommodate the new pad. As with any good contractor, I had to wait a bit to get his services, but even the wait wasn't unreasonable. After the project was complete, I had a concern about the cuts that were needed to be made to keep the concrete from cracking. The cuts didn't extend as far as it seemed they needed to preserve the integrity of the large pad edges. He was quick to have someone return to address this concerns and extend the cuts to help prevent cracking. Highly recommend!!
