I got an original Krystal , an original cornpup, onion rings, an apple pie and a small drink. He got the Cheeseburger Krystal, an original Krystal, Glazed doughnut bites, a small drink, and corn pup bites. Service was decent considering I hadn't been in a while to a Krystal and my fiancé was experiencing a new fast food place. Atmosphere was casual and family friendly. We were the only people dining in at the time. We felt that the food was good and that it was a great deal for the money spent. It was like $16 for two people which in this economy is awesome! We liked that we could try a variety of different food items. We definitely added it to our list of travel lunch spots when we are going out of town.

So something must be up with ownership not wanting to honor Texas Roadhouse's standard birthday celebration, where they sing to you and put you on a saddle. I think all other TEXAS ROADHOUSE LOCATIONS even offer a free appetizer or a birthday dessert, like most restaurants (their competitors). But at this Cookeville location, all I got was a weird stare both times in the last month. Needless to say, they never came to our table. I'm not sure what's up with that, but we went the month before that, two months ago, to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday, as it's one of her favorite places for bread, lol.
