Terrible experience. Placed an online order for delivery to Coronado and was charged $77.20. The order didn't show in my history, so I placed it again--ended up getting charged twice. When I called to cancel the duplicate, the person on the phone was incredibly rude and said they don't deliver to that area on Sunday. When I asked to deliver it the next day instead, he snapped, "You are talking and not listening," and said he would cancel both orders. If you don't deliver to Coronado, don't accept the order and charge for delivery in the first place. Completely unprofessional and a waste of time. read more

I've always driven by here and my guy and my friend got me flowers from here for my birdday and they were beautiful! I got a lilac bouquet from my friend and a crazy gorgeous orchid, rose, daisy bouquet from my guy. Both smelled and looked amazing! I ended up coming here to buy Mother's Day bouquets for a few people and they didn't have as big of a selection as I had hoped. They were all extremely similar to one another and most didn't vary much in color. The prices were pretty high as well. Not sure if it is normally like that or if they increased prices because of the holiday. While I do enjoy supporting small businesses, I prefer to have more variety in my options. I would come back here, but am also very open to checking out other businesses. read more

TRYING TO BE A CUSTOMER This is a florist shop - a popular one! I called asking if they sell smaller bouquets and was told no. Okay, I called another time asking if they sell a single rose and the lady on the phone rudely said no and quick to hangup. It's not even a holiday or a busy time. I didn't get a chance to ask any other questions. Someone work with me, please? What does it cost to buy a single because I'm willing to give you money. I'm sure not all roses get used and there may be one left over - sell that to me. I expected better and more out of a florist shop. You want to know why I want a single rose. It's for my fur.child/dog that passed away and it's for her tiny vase that sits next to her urn. I just need one rose. Finding one rose is impossible to find these days. read more

Great service came in here for some anniversary flowers for my wife and the prices where right. I got a nice colorful bouquet for my wife and then I grabbed a couple of multi colored roses for to fill it out and it came out to about 50 bucks which I thought was better then vons or one of these other florest. The women work fast and they are very personable with you to give a lady's perspective on your choice and I appreciate that and so did my wife. read more

Popped in here yesterday when I realized we needed to take flowers to my granddaughter's assembly where she was getting an award. The shop was so full of such a variety of flowers! The staff was so helpful, just jumped right in and quickly put together a bouquet in the school colors completely wrapped with a big beautiful ribbon. The price was so reasonable! I just placed an order with this florist via their website. Minutes later I received a call from the florist stating that they wouldn't be able to take my order. Over the past 9-12 months I have placed four orders with Dave's Flower Box. They only fulfilled one of the orders. The other three times I have received a call that they cannot take the order. Each time I have chosen arrangements featured on their website. My suggestion is to place your order with another florist right off the bat. We had our wedding in August of 2025, and of all vendors, Dave's Flower Box was the most touching of all. We came from out of town to celebrate our wedding. Being that we paid for our wedding out of our own pockets, we were on a tight budget. A professional florist or tons of florals was out of the question. We bought these small gorgeous vintage vases for part of the centerpieces on our tables, and the bride's best friend made the bouquet out of the flowers that were bought at Dave's. The bride asked for simple one or two flowers in each vase for 10 tables. The rest of the wedding party was not confident about how this would look overall. The simplicity, pops of color from the flowers, and eclectic look of the vases and flower types turned out beautifully for the reception. My husband facetimed me while choosing flowers with the shop owner, whom I presume is Dave. Dave asked what we were collecting all these flowers for, and I'm not sure if he expected a groom to pop in day-of the wedding to collect several bouquets. Once we were done selecting the flowers, my husband called me with tears of joy, and my eyes welled up as well as he was explaining his checkout. Dave took interest in our love story and shared his own love story about he and his wife. He offered to give us a discount on the items because he was touched by our story. The father and son duo in the shop blushed and shared they wanted to celebrate love. They gave us an incredible deal, and additionally, his son handed my husband a pack of Pokemon cards. This brought my husband incredible joy and later tears for the kind gesture, as Pokemon has been loved by him as child and into his adulthood.
