Ron, the technician who came over, did a very good job, especially on the rug that had had the most foot traffic and also tended to hang on to dog hair, and thus needed some extra cleaning. All told I think he was there for an hour and fifteen minutes or so. The rugs all looked nice and clean afterwards! I definitely felt I'd gotten a little more than I expected. I recommend them.

So, in an effort to clean up the mess we were in search of a carpet cleaner. We were recommended to have our carpets cleaned by Chris Wade of Amazing Carpet Cleaning by a post in a community group online. We have nothing to loose since our carpets are (in our opinion) a lost cause. We phoned Chris late last week to see if he could possibly clean Saturday. He was booked for that date, but was available Monday - so we got him signed up for this afternoon. He phoned today (as promised) to let me know when he was on his way. He explained the process and figured the best way to set up his van to have the maximum cleaning power. He got right to work and called me down when he was about 1/2 done to show me the difference. We chatted while he worked and he explained exactly what he was doing and how the steam treatment would be effective. He worked diligently on the doggy stains and got the carpet looking cleaner than it has in a very long time. It was looking so great I asked if he could do an extra room down the hall and he obliged and completed that room when he was done with the first one. He was fast yet took his time doing a good job. My $900 rug is basically ruined and he should have warned me that it would have pulled up the loops in the rug. To top it off My bedroom never had a smell before and now it smells like cigarettes. Not sure if he cleaned a smoking house before he came to ours but the smell is putrid. Nothing like having the windows open in 90° heat just because you can't breathe from the awful smell
