**Avoid this place--terrible quality, unauthorized fees, and zero communication.**…read moreWe brought in our 3DS XL, and what followed was a three-month nightmare: * **Unauthorized Charges:** They added an extra $50 fee onto our bill without asking or getting approval first. * **Damaged Condition:** After waiting three full months, we got the device back with new damage. They repaired the top screen, but now the top and bottom screens are different colors, the bottom screen has a white print/spot on it, and one of the speakers was broken during the repair and no longer works. * **Zero Communication:** They held our device for three months and completely ignored our attempts to reach out. They simply do not care about customer service or quality of work. Because of their complete refusal to resolve these issues or communicate with us, we have already filed formal complaints with the **Better Business Bureau (BBB)** and the **Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division**. Save yourself the headache and money--take your electronics anywhere else.

I love Chuco Town (aka El Paso, the 915)! So... naturally I'd love a store that sells…read moreChuco-inspired items. Chuco Relic sells t-shirts, pins, stickers and more. They also sell prints and paintings by local artists. What's even better is that it's a local business (well how could it not be?)! Every time I've gone, the employees are super friendly and helpful. I always end up talking and talking with them. Another thing I like about Chuco Relic is that they help the community often. I should say they also try to help people in our state! Back when Hurricane Harvey happened in Houston, they raised money for them by selling merchandise. I recently purchased an El Paso Strong t-shirt from them for $10. I pre-ordered it so it came out to $10 less. I'm always excited to help local businesses succeed, especially when they help others here and around Texas. If you're looking for an El Paso-inspired gift, this is a good place to go.

My son has been collecting sports cards for a few years and this is his favorite place to shop. We've been to all the shops in the area and Freddy's is our favorite. We stopped by Tsundoku Depot after an Easter event at RGV Park, and it ended up being such a fun,…read moreunexpected find. When we first arrived, the shop was locked even though the hours said open. As we were about to leave, the owner came back from lunch and let us in. She mentioned there had been a sign, but it flew away in the wind, which made sense given how windy it was that day. Inside, there's a super chill black cat, which my kids immediately loved (just something to keep in mind if you have allergies). The shop itself is small, but it's packed with a really solid selection of anime, comics, and Pokémon cards. What stood out was the condition of the cards... some were in protective holders and looked really well cared for. My kids found a bunch of Pokémon cards at a great price and were so excited to pick them out themselves. One of them didn't have enough money for a comic, and the owner still let her take one since it was leftover from Free Comic Book Day, which was a really kind gesture. This is the kind of small, tucked-away shop you might miss if you're not looking for it, but it's definitely worth checking out. Friendly atmosphere, unique selection, and a great stop if you have kids or just enjoy comics and collectibles.
