Absolutely Horrible. Worst bank in the USA. Worse than Chase or BofA…read more They fail to assist in any way regards to sensitive accounts. Deliberately leave you in the dark. They'll act helpful and understanding in person then a complete 180 over the phone. Will lie about your own information, and falsely accuse and say you never went back to the bank to deliver a court document when there are cameras in the bank as well as the courthouse and I have a receipt. They will say you never signed something you did. I asked after I signed if there was anything else, then 6 MONTHS LATER they backtrack and it was as if they acted like we came from different universe from each other. Like somehow me driving 1400 miles just for a document signature never happened. All of that just to find out over the phone by Ted Lance that he could've emailed the court to get the document instead of me driving 700 miles up there and another back to my out of state residence. So they verbally attacked and accused me of never being there when I was on top of the fact that had they used their brains to communicate I didn't even have to drive over 700 miles to begin with! They create more work and waste my time. Will say you have 2 different account numbers, go back and forth from things they said and no idea what they are doing. They act as if they're too important to be bothered to communicate between their departments regarding your account, you're being paid to do a job and you can't be bothered to do the bare minimum of what you're employed to do!? Wow! Management is horrible, I ask to speak to manager over the phone because they sound confused and they apparently can't decide who the manager is either. It's like this bank is run by a bunch of diversity hires and zoomers and old geezers that can't be bothered. They give the run around. Despite talking to me for 20 minutes into a call, all of a sudden they need to verify my identity again? What??? After we discussed ALL my account information already?? what kind of security measure is that exactly!? Horrible. Good luck banking with them and having any life changes come up like a death in the family, adding/deleting an account member or any other situation, they'll treat you like you're a deadbeat criminal despite never once having a late payment (and even paying ahead) before the life change. They must think it's funny to mess with peoples lives, especially marginalized and less privileged people.

Avoid this office!!!! George, the phone answerer and front desk guy for Pam, doesn't take critical…read morefeedback well and you will be punished for it. Let me explain. I had this insurance office for seven years on my home and autos. During this time, my teenager got a license and I dropped by the office to get her added. George was friendly and told me a phone call would have sufficed. He took a photo copy and congratulated my daughter. A week later I got a phone call from George asking if my daughter's license was an under 21 or over 21 years of age license. I called George back and reminded him that he had taken a photo copy of it. I admit, there may have been some frustration in my tone. He got nasty back and gave me negative attitude!!! I talked to Pam and let her know about his unacceptable tone and words. She apologized and said George had been to a funeral that morning. I said that is definitely sad and suggested that if he can't conduct himself in a professional manner, he should have stayed home that day. A year later, I called the office and George answered the phone. I told him that I had sold my home and gave him the closing date and gave my new address out of state. He hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to Pam - the office agent. George said she wasn't there and would give her the message. I told George it was rude and unprofessional to hang up on someone. His attitude was smug. I NEVER DID GET A PHONE CALL FROM PAM. I take that to mean she either didn't get the message or doesn't care to hear feedback about George. I called the 800 office and got Pam's regional office manager number. I let them know my experience. 6 months later - I get a bill for home owners insurance for a home I no longer own. My husband called 1-800 and thought they took care of it. Now it is 15 months since I have owned a home in NE Ohio. I got another bill. This time I go into my local town American Family office. Yes, my account is still active and showing that I owe money!!!! They call Pam's office. No answer. They call Pam's regional manager. He says that the Pam Waldo office is a known problem office. No surprise!!!!!!! It has been 15 months since I have been an American Family customer. I find out that I am owed approximately $1400.00 in refund. Guess where they sent it? To the address that I haven't owned for more than a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pam, your customer service expectations from your employee is extremely lax. You are possibly not getting phone messages. George holds a grudge and is treating YOUR customers disrespectfully. You are not taking care of business if customers sell homes and are still being billed. Keeping a refund from a customer is completely unacceptable. Do not use this office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
