I had a terrible experience with data clinic. They sent a courier to pick up my Drobo storage unit, and when it arrived at their facility they called me to say the unit had been damaged in transit, and the wanted £200 just to diagnose it, when the diagnosis was meant to be free. They claim it was all due to my packaging. My 11-year-old son put the Drobo in a box, with their courier present. He accepted the package, never said anything about it. Frankly, it looked like it was dropped down stairs, and no amount of packaging would have helped it.
I asked them multiple times to own their mistake, but hey refused, even when I said that I would be talking about this experience whenever I could. They won't take any responsibility, and say it's my fault when their courier clearly damaged it. Terrible service, avoid them, especially if you have data that is important to you. read more
