Revising to a 2-star rating since we are in talks to get the equipment (boiler) he owes us still. I wish he would've reached out since we were one of his most consistent customers back in 2021-2022. We always made sure he was paid, and he did a handful of work for us as new homeowners, but now almost 2 years later we had to track him down ourselves. Update 03/24: Back to 1 star. Overall service failure. Multiple plans to meet up to get the equipment he owes us. Failed to appear for all. Gave stipulations for a refund (certified check or Venmo or Cash App). No contact since. Dast Construction was hired to install a deck, shed and roof on my home. They gave me a completion date of May 16, 2023. As of August 18 they had not finished and had not refunded my money for the materials I had paid for the unfinished portion. After numerous phone calls and texts trying to get the job done or a refund, I hired another contractor to complete the job. The second contractor found very poor construction that needed to be fixed before they could complete the job. I do not recommend Dast Construction. read more

When we were in the process of buying our current home, RJ construction was recommended to us to do an estimate for touch up paint so we can get the house closed. On January 20th we paid him $500 to do some temporary fencing. He kept dragging it out and dragging it out and then proceeded to say if he did the demolition of our garage since the fencing was attached to it he could tear that down and then put up the fencing. Then he started complaining that he didn't have the $1,000 to rent the dumpster and complained to our mortgage broker. He knew that he was supposed to be completely paid through our finance company. But our mortgage broker asked us to front him $1,000 to rent the dumpster in good faith. We gave that to him on January 1st. There is still no dumpster in our driveway. Monday the 12th of January we literally told him we wanted our $1,500 back because he continually made up excuse after excuse after excuse not to show up. Tuesday morning he showed up and started tearing down the garage. He put a lot of the material on our neighbor's property without permission and parked his cargo trailer that has a different company name, Dast Construction, and has since then abandoned it on her property. He sent a guy out on the 14th to remove most of the stuff that was on our neighbor's property, but not all of it has been removed. Now he's threatening us because we assume he doesn't want to complete the job. He started it on the 13th and now it's the 27th of january? So he has not been back in 2 weeks. We feel like we have been scammed and would never refer anyone to this company ever. He goes by RJ Davis on Facebook, he also goes by Richard Davis Jr.. he has known since the get-go that we are both disabled. My husband is a 100% retired disabled Coast Guard veteran and I am a cancer patient on disability. So if you see him or either one of his company names do not go through him. We are also wondering if there are other people that would like to go in on a potential lawsuit or class action lawsuit against him that he has also scammed. Please reach out to me! read more

This man is a crook I do not recommend anyone hire him and I wish I would have read these reviews before I hired him to do work for me. He took money for materials to do a plumbing job for me. After receiving almost $400 he told me he didn't want the job he lied to me and said he dropped the materials off at my house and had the receipts neither were true. I have not recieved anything from this man l. I text him multiple times and he claims he put the materials in a safe place so nobody would steal them and the receipts are in his other work truck but still has not told me the supposed location of materials or send me the receipts and now will not even respond to my text messages. He claims he has a good name and always stands by his word which is a joke. If tou look him and or his company up you will find nothing but reviews of him taking people's money for work he hasn't done or for materials he never bought. I will be taking him to court and if anyone would like to join me please contact me. I will be using all the reviews I have found on him when I go to court to show I'm not the first person he has done this to. So again never give this man for anything you will never see it again. read more
