The lake was very nice and calm, our boat had a slide on it from the second deck which was cool. They also have a restaurant that we ate at, we ordered a bunch of apps for the most part. The food was good but nothing over the top. If you are looking for a day on the water with an easy in and out, give this place a chance.

There are some good additions to the marina but Safe Harbor LLC was bought out by Blackstone. If…read moreyou know about Blackstone then you know this is not a good thing. As soon as new management took over things on the employee side of this marina started going downhill fast. If you don't kiss corporate backside then good luck. They only want employees that won't disagree with anything management has to say and maintenance is treated like they're invisible which is funny because at a place like this, maintenance is the only reason the marina is still floating. Anyway good luck! I hope things turn around here.

The great weather helped, but everything about the bikes and available trails was perfect. The bikes are like new and worked perfectly. I have riden several electric bikes and they all seem to have different ways of working. But we were given patient and careful instructions. We live in Brentwood but had no idea how many beautiful bike trails are in our country. We rode two hour 95% on paved trails: very scenic and peaceful. I would highly recommend Pedego Bikes as an perfect outdoor adventure!

We made reservations for 9:30 AM on a Saturday morning as we wanted to get ahead of the crowds on the river and we did just that! The folks at Canoe Music City were all super chill, friendly and helpful from the window to the water. Most of us rented canoes, while a few of us rented the kayaks. I will say the ones who rented the kayaks had a better time, as the canoes were a bit smaller than I am used to and the balance was easy to throw off. But, they got us to and from and down the river as needed, so we weren't too upset! They have differing lengths you can cruise, we chose the 5 mile. The price for a canoe is $55 while the Kayak will run you $45 each. Just as all the other spots, they load you up at the cabin, drive you a few miles to the drop point and then pick you up at the end point. It is a pretty seamless process, just make sure someone has their phone as you do have to call to be picked up at the end. Not that Music City Canoe has anything to do with the river itself, but there are several spots along the trek that allows you and your group to pull off and relax whether it be at the gorgeous waterfall or the small beach. We spent a total of 4.5 hours lazily cruising down the river and we loved every minute of it! Oh, and for those who are wondering...you can bring your dogs and booze is allowed on the river. And you can bring your own kayak/canoe, but they do charge you to transport it to and from with your group. Overall, great way to spend a weekend day!

You can make a reservation without providing a credit card number which is nice for big groups and the pricing isn't bad at all. The only negative would be the wait at the drop off site to get into the river and the vans they transport you in need a little more loving. We always have a blast and the scenery is so beautiful. They have a 5 mile and 7 mile float, we've always done the 7 mile and it's perfect. Plenty of stops along the way to eat or relax in the water. I can't wait for our next trip.

Paddle dog Unlike most of the reviews for Paddle Dog, I did…read morenot utilize any of the recreational items they provide. We went on a weeknight to enjoy the outside dining area and trivia. Parking is a small challenge but if you're not adverse to a short walk there are spots off the main roads close by. The setting is really lovely overlooking the lake at Westhaven. We arrived early but there honestly wasn't a huge crowd. If I could I would give their food operations 2.5. It is very pricey for what they provide. $8 for draft beers in plastic cups. The beer was cold and tasty so that's a plus. The hot dogs were extremely disappointing. I ordered the Westhaven which you would think would be a show stopper with the community name on it. For $9 you get a standard size hot dog. (You can get an idea of the size by its comparison to the 3 Jalapeño peppers and the excess bun length over dog length.) It came with a thin spread of cream cheese and honestly the smallest amount of chopped onions. It looked like the 11 pieces of diced onion had been meticulously spaced across the dog. Also be aware the dogs do not come with any sides, no chips or fries or even a pickle. The Chips would be an extra $2.95. Husband ordered the Polish Dog. It also came with a very lite portion of onions and we realized later that it didn't even have the peppers as promised in the menu. So it was a pretty sparse fare. Not sure we'd return for dining, maybe stick with renting paddle boards.
