It's cavernous but cozy if that's possible and absolutely gorgeous. It's located downstairs in one of the many beautiful old building in "downtown" or center square Goettigen. The potatoes were what you would expect in Germany. And the ham was delicate. We split a warm strudel which was memorable. Upscale but not flashy or super trendy. Just a fine, solid place. The atmosphere is very traditional. The rooms are clean and spartan. The toilet facilities are all modernized. The included breakfast is simply great. And the prices are very reasonable. It's nice to be able to return to "old Germany" and find quality in a traditional Gasthaus.
