The owner is so cool and a great talker who is warm and engaging. I had to stop in because I love the look, feel and smell of leather and I love western stores. This store don't just carry western boots, but also riding boots, and casual styles in beautifully crafted leather. The women's western boots were very nice and had unique designs. If you are looking for quality boots like Frye, this store is a great option. . While they do have clothing options, I just focused on the leather accessories as a matter of interest. They have wonderful leather bags in various sizes and styles so if it's a bag that you need, the Branding Iron can help you. Something has changed and now he gets frustrated REALLY easy and has to be told instructions over and over and over again. He has had some of my items for a while now, and each time I come back either something isn't complete or has to be redone and I have to repeat the exact same instructions from the previous visit. I understand why some items have taken a while, but I know that he is not working on my other items in the meantime because he is "too busy". He is now openly expressing his frustrations with me when it is he who doesn't understand and doesn't write down or remember the instructions. And when giving the instructions I don't feel confident he understands them. While there is a language barrier, it isn't that. He doesn't like to "hear" what you are saying when he is frustrated. Which is almost every time I come to check on my items. I watch other people come into the store while I am there and he treats them like they are royalty. I feel like since I am a returning customer, who brings a lot of high end business to him, he should treat me the same or better! I have a lot more purchases that I was going to bring to him. I will not do this now. I will ONLY bring new items to him if I can't make it to Atlanta due to his customer service. Make sure he gives you a timeframe of when the items can expect to be completed and that he writes everything down and you should be fine, I hope. I will edit this review if his attitude changes.

During a recent trip to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park we took a visit to Cherokee. A lot of the town was closed but I had a very nice at Nancy's which sells all sorts of Native American crafts. The store is huge and every inch of space from the front porch into the store is crammed with clothing, dream catchers, pottery, baskets, accessories, hats, shoes, blankets, and bags. I will always remember how I attended a Pow Wow in Florida and the Native American speaker urged support for Native American crafts. He said that if you wanted your dream catchers to work, then they had to be authentically made by Native Americans, Walmart wasn't going to cut it. The dream catchers here, created in every hue of the rainbow, are so authentic that they include a card that tells you the name of the Native American artist who made it. The prices were also at least half of what was being charged at the pow wows I have attended. This is the place to shop if you too are in love with Native American crafts.
