He went above and beyond in every aspect of selling our home. He is extremely knowledgeable and reliable and made every effort to make this an easy process for us. Even when there were issues with our contractors in preparing the house to be sold, Hank stepped in even when he didn't have to and helped facilitate the process. He goes to bat for you every step of the way to get you the price you deserve. We were always treated like VIPs. You will never feel like you're "just a number" to him, which is how we felt with other realtors we met with prior to meeting Hank. He is never too busy to take your call or too tied up with other properties that he can't answer your questions. Hank is the type of person who sends a hand-written thank you note and will pick up the phone even when he's busy just to tell you that he will call you back as soon as possible instead of just letting it go to voicemail. This is the initial complaint on the BBB:…read more We purchased a home from Almont in the *************************** April of 2021. Immediately things started going wrong:1) drainage problem number 1, back behind house, the hill is washing away. I have to call the county to get them to fix it because I am told by Almont they followed standards. 2) I decided to build a retaining wall along my backyard. When my landscape architect checks the retaining wall Almont put up on the side of my house, they discover it is not built to standard suggested engineering instructions and will cause a problem if not redone. I show Almont all the information and they tell me they did it correctly. Cost to me to fix $5000. 3) flooding off hill in front of house across sidewalk and grass is destroying sod. Builder says it will stop because they made changes (this was during walk through), never stopped, was told it was not their issue. Cost to bury drain under sidewalk $500. Put rocks instead of grass so so would not have a muddy mess. 4) brings sod in from *******, half never came in because it was dead. Told by builder they do not warranty landscaping, cost to just have full grass in places they put dead sod, $750. 5) 1 year warranty work put in at about 9 months, takes multiple times and till almost the 2 year **** to get service. 6) Almont is sued and therefore unable to sell houses and instead rents a ton of houses and does not hold renters to any standards. Outside of houses look like c*** 7) HOA (still builder led) which is owned by Almont through a sub company does nothing to keep up the neighborhood and only does something when you call and complain. $600 *************** go where?8) Pool supposed to be part of neighborhood, 2 1/2 years and no pool and nowhere that looks like it would fit a pool. 9) Almont is an incestuous multi shell company organization that cares nothing about anyone but themselves and making money. (My opinion based on my research). However, the house is nice and seemingly built well. (shrug) Their response on BBB was some bullshit like I never sent them any issues or warranty issues. However, that is utter bullshit. Not only did it take them almost a year to reply to my warranty claims but Randy the super told me he would address some of the drainage issues in the front and never did. However, he was related to the owners. The sod that was put down came up from Florida and was dry and ruined when it was put down. The county DID come out and tell me they screwed up the grading and that day brought a Bobcat and redid the grading and planted seed to help hold it together. I can get the county records. I had to redo the retaining wall Almont put in, because a landscape architect came out and said it was not up to industry specifications and was already falling. He told me this when I was paying him to put in the retaining wall across the entire backyard because of what started to be runoff. Furthermore, their response NEVER addressed the issues, it just projects that it is the purchasers issue. Furthermore they were sued while we were only here for a year and all building had to stop and nothing could close because they had a Lis Pendence against them. Therefore they let in a ton of renters and did not require they take care of their properties. The common land is still a mess after 3 years and I have sent many email to the HOA to fix. Finally, the pool they promised took 3 years to start building, is still not built and not that a size was promised is a kiddie size pool and not one you would expect in a $700K neighborhood. Almont has many complaints against them over the same things. Come talk to my neighbors, look at the BBB and their response is always the same. It is the buyers fault. Do me a favor, anyone that reads this, find a phone number for their HQ and get an executive on the phone! If you can accomplish this I will give you a hundred bucks for the information. PS- the published information online will not get it for you. If you think this is ONE consumers source grapes, I would be happy to put together a group of neighbors to talk about their feelings as well. Whatever you do, think twice before buying a home from this builder! I am still looking for my $5000 re-imbursement for the retaining wall that they put in that I had to replace.

The inspect and repair more than TEN TIMES, but still leaking. How comes the house can pass the inspection?????? I feel that all the BAD GUYS on Earth are working in this company. Mr. John Davis always ignore my email, he looks friendly and kind, BUT he will do some bad things behind of you. Mr. phil, the VICE PRESIDENT OF ALMONT HOMES, ALWAYS LIE TO US, told us that everything is no problems, BUT the gold always shine and the problems always appear. There are four families in our community are going to sue the Almont Homes NE, INC. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!
