My young companions and I did end up browsing the aisles to see what products the store offers. I must admit the cleanliness of the store was definitely a positive. The aisles and shelves are very organized and things are grouped in such a manner that it makes items easier to locate. Although they did have Thai Basil in stock, it was old and of poor quality so I did not purchase it. Quite a bit of the produce was not in the best shape. I did however purchase a non-produce item. The staff member at the cash register was very kind, interacted with genuine consideration of the young children whom were with me, answering several of their questions. He then offered them both a Pocky snack free of charge for both of them, they were ecstatic! If I am in the area and have need of non-produce items, then I will return to this establishment.

Condiments I've never seen before , mochi , ice cream. Fish balls (not too sure about trying those simply because I'm not a fish fan). They also have a tank with HUGE crabs. I will say this I'm born and raised in New York and spent a lot of time in China Town and I'm accustomed to the smell of fish. So if you're not you may be surprised when you walk in. The woman at the register was friendly and smiled when we walked in. The store itself was well organized and clean. As for the pricing it was definitely reasonably.

Fast forward to today, I go in and purchase 12 cans of Limca and Thumbs Up. These are basically Indian versions of Sprite and Coca Cola (I personally think the Indian versions taste better and they use sugar instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup). I also wanted to use a 10% off coupon for spending $30. I get to the register and this pale (just for identification) Middle Eastern looking or Indian gal looks at the coupon and states, "6/30/2025, is this expired?" I had to tell her that today was June 1st, 2025 and you know what the funny part is? I AM INDIAN! So this is not a hoodwink other ethnic groups into buying everything at full price. And likewise, I have been to other business where other ethnic groups were employees and managers and called them out as well. This is Kentucky and so if they end up taking out a gun, then just let them charge full price (I have not had this happen yet, but have heard news on altercations beginning this way). So whatever ethnic group you are, just be sure that when you use a coupon; you stick by what you know, in this case, the date of today and what it states on the coupon. This could have just been a one off experience, but for profit businesses are always looking for ways NOT to discount certain items. Just an FYI. I am GLAD that I saved $3.09! I just bought soft drinks, Red Label and Gold Label teas!

Some of the reviews I read complaining about the smell of the store have clearly never been to China Town in NYC or the Fulton Street Fish Market close to the South Street Seaport. And as a native New Yorker I LOVE China Town& The Fulton Street Fish Market. I was looking for something very specific. I wanted pork buns and pork dumplings. They do have an extensive selection of frozen food you aren't going to find at grocery stores. I found what I was looking for all the way in the back of the store they had multiple freezer cases. They actually have home made dumplings and pork buns flown in from China Town in NYC. I was so happy when the woman at the register told me. Each bag was 14.99 and you get a ton for the price. I can't wait to eat some! They do have a variety of condiments, cookies, candy, fresh vegetables and fruits. They also have fresh seafood. I looked at the tanks and the crabs were big and not crowded at all. They are reasonably priced and you'll find things you can't find elsewhere. As for the customer service we were greeted as soon as we walked in. Upon checking out the woman at the register and I had a conversation about New York because she's going next week and I'll be going home to New York at the end of October for vacation.

My only qualm is that they are very much a seafood heavy store so the entire place smells like an ocean. It's fishy. I did also find frozen roe balls though which are my favorite.

I was told by locals to frequent here to order only Mediterranean food options as the other foods they offer aren't as good. (They offer Indian cuisine and fried fish/chicken) so I ordered the Greek shawarma chicken entree. I had a coupon that offered a slight discount for my lunch entree, but the employee said it didn't qualify for it. Not sure why, but that's fine. He was using a translator to speak with me, so may be some confusion. The food was mediocre, you do get plenty of food but it just lacks the flavor I expected. It was empty inside when I came in, which is always a worrisome feeling for me, but it wasn't too bad. I won't be back anytime soon but glad I atleast tried it out.

When I got home, I found that the wrap was small (one might consider going with the shawarma equivalent) and the chicken sandwich was just tough and gross OH MY GOD or ALLAH or whomever). The chicken patty was square and thin and just tough to bite into and had a weird taste. The cheese is just cold (like why not melt it). The amount of grossness was equivalent to one eating a white bread mayo and banana sandwich, instant hurl. I gave it to my got dang cat and he smelled it and walked away. So the story here is to stick with the restaurant's specialty, the Mediterranean food items. And I wanted to try their fish sandwich, which I may reconsider after the chicken experience.
