We stood there for a good two minutes just wondering where to go. We could have easily walked into the back room, snatched up a kid, and left. No bells/dingers/alarms or anything goes off when the door opens to let anyone know that someone has entered the establishment. The administrator finally came out and we told her we had called about getting a tour, and she was so frazzled. She walked me to the nursery room so we could see the way they have everything is set up. The lady in charge of the nursery is very nice, and you can see that she's very hands-on with the kids, but the administration was so lacking. I kept asking the owner questions about kid-teacher ratios, how long the waiting list is, and she didn't know the answers to any of the questions. The lady in charge of the nursery had to answer the questions for her. Didn't leave me with a good feeling. Their lack of security is crazy!

The building was bright, clean, and smelled fresh (I don't know how they do it!). The price was great and it was close to our home. We moved our daughter to this school and kept her there until she was preschool age. She just needed more school-oriented projects, rather than daycare, at that point. But I do believe Kid's Academy provides the state recommended curriculum for the appropriate ages. There is incredibly low turnover here. The staff is wonderful, minus one or two individuals but that's just life. They are regularly open and trustworthy. We moved 10 miles one-way from the school but still decided to place our son with them after failing to find a place closer to our home that was both affordable and acceptable. I wish they were closer, but we love them!

They will close the daycare due to personal issues even if you paid for the week. They will leave your child at school without prior notice that they have closed for unbeknown reasons to you as the parent. When they do pick the kids up they are often late and the school calls will have you terrified that your child has been left stranded. Baby's are picked up with a diaper full of urine. The daycare looks like a whole in the wall not fit for a dog kennel. On top of that she is unethical with her prices and will charge you $15 if you are a minute late. This place I cannot even call it a daycare and it should be closed. You are better off choosing a more reliable day care. This place is disgusting

However, Ms. Carrie's Day School treated me and kid like family. My daughter started there at 10 weeks old and stayed there until she was 3 years old. They nurtured her, helped potty train, and made sure that she met her milestones. The owners and director were great at communicating with me and if I had an issue they made sure we came to a solution. The only reason that my daughter left this daycare was because I felt like she outgrew the daycare and needed to start school. I love Ms. Carrie's Day School. Now I will say though once my baby got old enough to hit the playground, she would come home looking like a dust bunny! lol That was frustrating but realistically they can only do so much. A kid is going to be a kid.

She entered only speaking a few words, and left prepared to skip a grade in school. The staff at CVMS saw her through many stages - they were able to get her talking, get her potty trained, deal with discipline issues with compassion and kindness, and they made her LOVE learning. As a small school, CVMS is able to give children the love and attention they need to flourish and thrive. The community is close-knit, and the kids make enduring friends and connections. I highly recommend this school.

There was no communication, the place is completely overpriced and hurting for money, and the academics are absolutely nonexistent.
