Usually no need for an appointment customers sit on one of the sofas against the wall to wait their turn. There were three girls working there today so my husband had scarcely any wait at all. The blonde girl who cut his hair was very pleasant and chatty. I think she cut his hair better than the place where we usually go and it cost £6 not bad these days! The salon is neat, clean and smart with black and white decor and the staff also wear black and white. Found in the pedestrianised Angel Street in the town centre. Im visiting from the US and I'm a city guy. The haircut I received was up to any cut I've had at "uptown" places and the prices are very reasonable. I have a feeling this place is locally loved, and it should be. But if you are just passing through and need a cut, give them a call. Highly recommended
