The only real negative I have seen are that when we go to pick up prescriptions at Walgreens, that sometimes they have not been sent (electronically or called in). When you do inform the clinic, they are quick to rectify.

Nobody likes when their little ones get sick. But there are places like Suburban Pediatrics that…read moremake a not-so-good time into a manageable time! Our first visit to Suburban Pediatrics was great. The receptionist was quick with the paperwork. They have two waiting areas for the little ones; one for sick patients and another for well patients. Each room has an activity table and a television pumping out kid-friendly shows. The fish tank that separates the rooms is my little guy's favorite feature! We were taken back to the rooms, all of which have different themes. Each room has a wall painted with old-school chalkboard paint for the kids to go crazy on while waiting to see the doctor. The wait wasn't long at all! We've seen 3 different doctors here so far, and each one was awesome. Their bedside manner with kids is superlative. My little one likes to squirm worse than a worm on hook, but the doctors were quite engaging and he actually stayed still enough for a complete check (...and the doctors won't share their secrets!!!) They are also part of the CMC network, so patient info can be accessed from other affiliates as needed. All around, one of the finest doctor's offices I've been to, and it's even better that it's for the important little people in our lives.

The good doctor gave a physical exam to my four day old grandson and naturally I was there! He's a mature physician probably in his early sixties and this is his specialty! Thus, it's no mystery that I'm about to say these folks are freaking magic. We've had a slew of normal appointments with Arbo Pediatrics and all have been so easy, relatively pain free for our son (and us), and relatively swift. The Pediatric Doctors and nurses we have seen have all been so genuinely nice to us and especially our son. They have all been cheerful, thorough, extremely helpful in understanding the wonderment of baby growth, and other simple pleasures of parenthood. Our most recent visit was that of the unplanned variety. Our son developed a bit of cold from who-knows-what and eventually turned into Croup (lots of nasty wheezing, coughing, barking sounds, and constricted airways). I called around lunchtime and one of the Pediatricians saw us just after 2pm. She a good look at our son, listened to his breathing, and suggested we go for a steroid shot to help with the inflammation in his esophagus. Within a matter of hours, his breathing had improved. No wheezing during his naps, and the next morning he was relatively normal. So thankful they were able to see him on such short notice AND help him with a swift recovery. Absolutely over the moon for this practice and so thankful for everything they have done for our son. Happy customers here.
