In 2014 they ran an online program that wasn't as described-- an e-learning diploma of IT in Networking. Instead enrolled students got a Skype delivered course without visuals but only the lecturer talking live. During sessions, this Skype course had online students in session together with class room students and online students spoke on loud speakers which everybody in the room could awkwardly hear. This Skype course was supposed to allow students to gain CISCO CCNA certification and Microsoft certification.. This question is, Is it possible to gain CCNA certifications online? The course manager resigned when the business owner Malek insisted to run the program online. The manager then, Josh was not committed to running it online, as it has never been done before, and it's very unlikely to be achieved as IT is mostly hands on training. As the program progressed, a student complained to the teacher running it. The student encountered difficulties understanding the content as it was not being delivered clearly ie. messy lecturing, disorganised lesson plan, unwilling to sit down with student to clarify topics. However that teacher (Salim) said he could not assist with queries as he also taught at another college and had no time as he was busy. When the student complained to the owner Malek, he avoided contact with the student, and said he was busy. This happened consistently for about 6 months. It is likely the owner knew, students could not afford legal advice or remedy, and that enrolling a domestic student would grant government funding, regardless if the student had been receiving quality education. This was why he refused to assist the student as he was only interested in the students enrollment to secure government funding for domestic students. In 2017, the regulator imposed a condition for MGITs registration as an RTO. MGIT, " must not engage third parties for the purposes of recruiting domestic students or delivering training or assessment to domestic students." It would be beneficial if MGIT didn't recruit international students as well
