Boulevard Liquor has a special place in my heart because it's the only place where I can find new…read moreand interesting samples of stuff, and I can catch up with Pinche Alberto on chisme, new restaurants to try, and other miscellaneous things. I try to check in at least once a month so I can see if anything new comes out (which usually does), and I always end up spending way more than I planned, but I'm not complaining as I never leave disappointed. If this place was a cracker, I'd give it 5 stars, then break the cracker up into tiny pieces then rate those 5 stars each. That's a lot of stars,

Went here last night with a friend. Absolutely charming place! The owner is an amazing chef and…read moreknows some serious wine. The food is all locally sourced and made from scratch. It was my first time in there and I will for sure be back! We shared a beet salad and the beef burger. Both were absolutely amazing. I know you'd say "oh, Julie, those aren't that big of a deal"...yes, yes it was. It was absolutely melt in your mouth burger and salad perfection. My friend said she has had almost everything on the menu and thinks it's all wonderful. I asked the chef to pick a Merlot for me...she did...it was so good! My friend had coffee and said her coffee is so good she will drive there from the next town over to get it. She also said it doesn't need anything to take away from the flavor. Often she puts sugar in her coffee, but not here! They also sell wine by the bottle and they had a few other cute local items for sale. A sign that I thought was precious said something like "my book group reads wine labels". They have tables in there, they also have a nice lounge area where you can sit comfy. Love the vibe, love the chef, 10/10!!

Never seen a spot that I can get both a handle of whiskey AND some CBD THC goodies! Nice size…read morelocation too, I mean they really pack it in to make the most out of their space. Good selections of drinks, they have all the majors covered and a few brands I haven't heard of that j look forward to trying. The whole front counter is stocked with a mini bottle selection to grab and go. The glass cases have a wide variety of CBD products. I have no idea what ALOT of that stuff was! I mean they have some cool stuff to try out like Shroom gummies! Didn't know that was a thing. But the THC-A, THC-O, etc etc that stuff had me questioning my knowledge of everything THC! I mean they have Delta 8 and Delta 9, I know what that stuff is. But THC-M!?! That had me googling everything!

I get having a convenience mark up, but crazy secondary mark up drives me away. I'd rather travel to Austin and get my bourbon. I also emailed them about products they had on their app and website, but never got a response. Overall I'd skip this establishment, but if you're cool with paying a high mark up, be my guest! Their selection is good, but not worth it in my opinion.

They have a really cool temperature controlled wine cellar where I can find my favorite Texas wines. The store has been totally renovated not too long ago which looks so nice now. Gabriel's is a San Antonio staple and you can find them all over town. Last month it dawned on me that Gabriel's Liquor didn't have a Yelp page to check in so when I stopped in and couldn't check in, it reminded me that we needed to fix that... Well problem solved... page made 6/15/18! AND... ever since that day just over a month ago, my Fanatic Follower has been checking in to steal my Dukedom. Yep, I'm calling him out... if you have an mobile app, it's really easy to figure out who it is, just look at who regularly checks in right after all the reviews on the biz page. He did the same thing with S&M down the road... and many other places in the area. His actions are really more than 'following' me... and it's creepy scary!
