Walking into Dapple + Waver, our first impressions of the restaurant was that it was bar; it had an impressive island with a wide selection of drinks to choose from, plenty of bar seating nearby and booths. It was very neat with/and sharp designs. The restaurant was rather chic to look at.
We were there quite early, so we were luckily able to choose our seating of choice. There was plenty of natural lighting that was shining through the tall wide windows that surrounded the restaurant, so we naturally gravitated towards those seating, abandoning our usual preference of booths (which there was plenty of, for larger parties also).
We sat down, perused the menu and was struck by the affordability of the meals! You could easily get a main for about $20-$25 which is quite good especially with the quality of the meals we received.
It was a difficult decision, so we requested assistance from the wait staff, who enthusiastically gave us some recommendations and so we ended up picking meals from the "Share & Grazing" menu.
We ended up with sticky pork belly bao; prawn skewers, lamb meatballs, arancini and a Pepperoni Pizza. (Yes.... way too much food we know) but.... it was the recommendation (hehe) and we had to do it read more
