A few yrs. ago my teeth were again in rough shape and my wife suggested Dr. Jay Epstein. I was extremely Leary about yet just within min. of being inside all the staff had me comfortable. All of the equipment is very up to date and even before anything is done Dr. Ebstein sits and explains what he feels the best options may be. Once work starts it's very much obvious he knows exactly what he's doing. He's also a perfectionist, which I picked up on the first time he worked on me. He doesn't take a that's ok attitude, for him , it must be perfect. His practice has plenty of parking and it very easy as it's right off the Main Street. All in all I'm finally in a position where going to the dentist isn't anything dreadful, Jay's a dam good dentist, for a beginner...., he's actually a pro.

From the moment I walked in, I was given a tour of the space, a welcome gift bag, and was asked if I wanted a water, a neck pillow, or a blanket for my visit. I moved from Chicago and this was by far my best experience at a dental office and they are not lacking in Chicago! The cleaning and the thoroughness of checking every tooth. I've had no discomfort or bleeding. I misunderstood and thought teeth polishing was part of the initial cleaning but it was not. They helped me set up a payment plan and my next step is whitening which includes the polishing of my teeth. Last hear I broke a tooth while visiting family and was recommended to Dr. Meaney from a close friend. I called and explained that I was from out of town and the squeezed me in to their already busy schedule. The office personnel and the hygienist were incredibly efficient and friendly. My dentist in Myrtle Beach said my tooth needed to be pulled but Dr Meany printed me a crown and popped it right in. At that moment I said "This is my new dentist!" Next is even more incredible... I scheduled a cleaning appointment for March so that J could visit my aging mother for her birthday and get the cleaning done at the same time. They did the cleaning but the capped tooth that I had was broken on one side... He removed it, fixed it by grinding it down and doing another full crown and while I waited he prepared the other side of my mouth for a dental implant which I never thought I would be able to get done. I have to return in June to get the actual tooth implant inserted. I'm beyond ecstatic about this. Most dentists would have set me for at least another appointment. He killed two birds with one stone and did what another dentist told me couldn't be done! I highly recommend Dr. Meany to care for you and your family's dental healthcare!
