Complete Lack of Responsibility…read more At my toddler's ballet class, the instructor removed my daughter from class to use the restroom and HANDED HER OVER to a random adult I do NOT know - someone who does NOT work for the studio. I was sitting just outside the waiting room door the entire time. Instead of taking a few seconds to find me, the instructor allowed a stranger to take my child into a bathroom stall and begin undressing her. Let that sink in. When I confronted the instructor, her response was shocking: "I don't have time to look for parents." Excuse me? Your convenience does NOT come before my child's safety. This is not a minor issue, it's a major breach of trust and judgment. Handing a child to someone the parent has not approved to take them into a private space is completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. I don't care if the person was "nice" or "helpful" you never, EVER do this. I stay for every class. The instructor knows that. In today's world, how can anyone think this is okay? What happened tonight could have ended very differently and that is terrifying. Parents, beware. If you value your child's safety, think twice before trusting this studio.

I've been doing this style of pole dance movement now for 18 years, and have been with Haus ever since they opened several years ago. Many of my favorite teachers have returned, and I couldn't be happier. I've been to other studios, but this is my favorite. It's truly my home away from home, and the community is just lovely... full of very friendly, sweet women, and none of the cattiness you often find at regular pole studios. The supportive nature of the teachers and other students is so important to me because this is a very vulnerable place, and I feel safe here.

It was a…read morelittle confusing to make sure I was in the right place (there was some description on ClassPass alerting us to different entrances for different studios but it wasn't clear from the sign up which studio this class was in). However, one the instructor arrived she opened the studio. I really enjoyed the experience, I felt like the instructor did a really good job of customizing the class to our various levels of experience which is really hard to do when you have some people who are just starting and some people who have been to many pole classes. She came around and helped each of us individually and provided modifications depending on our level of challenge. I also told her about an injury I had previously and she gave me some tips to provide relief and avoid reinjury. The only thing I didn't love was how dark it was in here haha I love the dark and sexy pole vibes but it was kind of hard to see when we first came in.

Miguel was a great teacher because we got a lot of compliments about our routine. Being a certified dance instructor, Miguel really knew how to explain the steps and movement in a way that really helped us smooth out our dancing. He helped us work on our lead and follow, so that if one of us forgot a step or missed a signal we just learned to dance through the mistake so it looked like that was the way it was to be. The lessons were so much fun, and Miguel brought so much energy into the lesson that it really made me look forward to going to dance class even after a long day of work. Although we had not factored dance lessons into our wedding budget or even gave it a thought, we're glad we did it anyways because the guest reactions and the amount of fun we had through this whole experience was definitely worth it. Father/Daughter Wedding Dance - We had a BLAST! Absolutely the best decision I made in wedding…read moreplanning. I was hesitant at first because we have zero dance training. But Slavik was over the top awesome. My daughter loves Dancing With the Stars, and this was like our own personal version. In all of the stresses of wedding prep, dance lessons were the one place that she just smiled so big, and we just had fun together! Slavik did all the choreography but tailored it to exactly what we wanted, and his teaching was always encouraging and always fun. For us, the ten-lesson dance package was just right. We got clever and made our dance a two-parter with both a Waltz and a hip-hop finish, and Slavik was brilliant at both. We didn't want to just be "part way" to a great dance, and after ten, we felt confident. We got lessons for the groom as well to add him into the last part of the dance, so it was a great bonding experience for the three of us. Just so great. I can't say enough. After the wedding I'm gonna bring my wife back for the evening group lessons. Each night of the week is another dance, and it sounds like a blast. Thank you again Slavik! Super impressive dancer and a seriously nice guy with excellent teaching! Slavik taught us how to dance to "Teach Me How to Dougie" which was the fun song we requested to learn to dance to, as well as very elegant Waltz for the father daughter dance. Very excellent range of talent. They are also some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to meet! They make sure that you are absolutely comfortable and are so very kind. If you want to become an excellent dancer, or just have fun dancing. There is no other place I could recommend!
