Dan has been servicing our sprinkler system for years and has always been prompt and efficient. He responds to our calls for help quickly and takes the time to explain what we need. Dan charged me for sprinklers he never installed..18 of them He charged me for 30p'ft of drip line and used 100'. I had sprinkler heads leak. He came and when he left he adj one to spray in my screen room. I tried calling only to leave messages. DAN never returned my calls. Now a year later 18 out of 30 sprinklers leak out the bottoms. He came kicked them then complained cause I put in a filter. Walked off being rude. He then texted me saying he would refund me money. He said he knew the sprinklers where crooked. Then he texted me more smart stuff and I told him I would take him to court. I'm disabled and to be taken advantage of is just sad. He wanted me to dig out the junk sprinklers and he would then give me new ones..thats not very professional.thank you for reading. read more

This man Dan is incredibly rude and unprofessional. My family owned a construction company for several years when I was growing up so I do have a background in this field. I know how bids work. The man basically got mad because I was trying to take bids from other companies. Which is pretty standard practice when looking for a contractor LOL. Ended up saying "I don't wanna do business with you". It was just so rude, he's very impatient. I mean you can tell by his appearance he's very disheveled, missing teeth, something in my gut just said this guy is going to be a rip off and add things to jack up the price. I had other companies come out and give me bids that had excellent reviews, their prices were much less and they seemed much more professional. I am only 38 years old and I'm already retired I own my house out right, I own property in New York City, I'm not someone who doesn't know what they're doing when it comes to running a business. And I have to say the way that this man runs his business is pretty unbelievable. I specialize in marketing, so in my option I wouldn't be surprised if some of those reviews that he has posted on HomeAdvisor are from friends of his, not all of them, but some of them I'm pretty sure he pads it. I did not hire him, he gave me a very bad feeling. Got very frustrated very quickly and again was extremely rude. I've been working on my house here for the past year and a half, doing renovations. Some of which I've done myself, and some of which I've contracted out, he was by far one of the worst contractors I have had out to my house for a quote. So to be perfectly honest Dan I don't wanna do business with you either. Your crass and rude and you really need to work on your customer service relationship skills. read more

Dan's Services is a great company and its rates are very reasonable. Dan is highly professional, experienced, down to earth, gets the job done fast and does it the right way! He is very honest and will tell you what is wrong and will fix it. I have used him before and never regretted it. My most current problem was my sprinkler pump had stopped working. I purchased a new pump and asked Dan to put it in. He came the same day and within 10 minutes of looking at the problem told me I did not need a new pump. The problem was the pipe going from the well to the pump had a crack in it and pump could not prime. Apparently the people who cut my lawn had bumped into it cracking the pipe. A lot of other irrigation companies would have just put in a new pump and moved on with the problem not solved. Not Dan. I saved over $300 when I returned the pump. I will continue to have him follow up on any sprinkler problems that arise and for general maintenance of the system. I highly recommend him! read more
