I did everything possible to avoid issues -- I confirmed timelines with my salesperson, Drew, to avoid a price increase and followed up with a call. Despite that, my quote increased. After some back and forth, they did honor the original price -- but the problems didn't stop there. Drew failed to place the order, even though I had submitted it and paid in full. That delay caused major availability issues, forcing me to purchase a more expensive microwave just to stay on schedule. When I needed to change one appliance, it took weeks just to get an updated proposal. I shared my install deadline well in advance, because I had out-of-town carpenters coming specifically to install the appliance panels. House of Appliances never got back to me in time, and I missed the window. Now I have to pay extra to get the panels installed later. To make matters worse, the refrigerator drawers and wine refrigerator arrived damaged. I was told they could be repaired -- but I paid full price, and I will not accept repaired appliances. These units are required for my Certificate of Occupancy and panel installation, and I still have no resolution. I even contacted a manager and have yet to receive any help. This kind of service is unacceptable.

The job was supposed to begin at nine, and I wasn't even informed until close to 11 that they wouldn't be arriving until noon. So, to not arrive, ignore messages, and then simply offer an arrival time of three hours late without any sort of reasoning or apology was discourteous and unprofessional, to say the least. Although Jim Reade neither verbally nor on my sales order wrote that the handle was not included I argued that a precedent was set. In fact it is a violation of law (Unfair and Deceptive Business Practices) as well as the Universal Commercial Code (UCC), he raised his voice and said "Get your own handle, I'm going home". It was 4:30. I asked him who he reported to and he refused to tell me. Shocked and horrified, I reached out to the other store and learned his boss is Tina Tsikisi who I called twice. After the second call she delegated it to another employee named Ed Fulop. He also said he would not provide the handle, even though it was not disclosed in any form that it was not included. What is wrong with these people? I spend nearly $10,000 and they treat customers like this? I would NEVER return and warn others, this is not a professional business. I bought a new handle for $200, I hope it was worth your reputation as I can see here isn't much to talk about.
