I had a unique issue with my car (bit of an oddball with it being manual and mid-engine) that two different places provided very high estimates to "try" and address. Howard actually took the time and had the patience to explore the issue and was able to get it back in working order... by fixing the actual root cause which was totally different (and less expensive) than what the other places wanted to do. When you add in the exceptional care he took of my vehicle while he had it, the outstanding communication throughout the process and overall just extremely pleasant interactions, I can confidently say H&H has my business going forward. Excellent, excellent experience!

I am in NJ and I was considering purchasing a used truck online from a dealership in Levittown, PA…read moreand I was in need of a third-party mechanic who could do the pre-purchase inspection for me. I searched and searched and then came across H&H and boy am I glad I did! I explained to Howard how I was short on time since it was an auction site and I was going to bid on the truck and the auction was closing in two days. He let me know that he was fully booked but that he would try to fit me in the next morning anyway and so the truck was brought to him by the dealer and he did a thorough inspection. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and very thorough and found almost a dozen things wrong with the truck, all things that were not being advertised by the seller. He took lots of pictures of everything he found and wrote up a detailed report with all of the issues. This guy probably saved me from a huge mistake and I commend his professionalism and just by speaking with him over the phone a few times, discussing the truck, I could tell that he was one of the good ones- kind of the holy grail of honest mechanics that we all go through our life searching for, usually to no avail. I am a perfectionist and of course I am just a random guy on the internet but if I say this guy is good, you can take it to the bank!

I recently had the privilege of having an inconsiderate driver damage my car by breaking the…read morepassenger sideview mirror and run off like a frightened child without leaving a contact number. I'm guessing it was a very petite individual driving a monster SUV. You know the ones who can't see over the steering wheel. Regardless, the mirror needed to be fixed. I wanted to get a number of estimates to see what might be a reasonable cost. I choose 4 auto-body repair facilities, all within a half mile of each other along the Rt. 130 corridor in Burlington Twp., NJ. It was a great experience as well as a cautionary tale that I could relay to anyone reading this review. Shop #1 gave me an estimate of $1,500; this included replacing the glass mirror, cowl, paint the cowl and blend the passenger door to match the cowl. Now I'm thinking I might have to get my insurance company involved, which I was not expecting. Shop #2 - CARSTAR - wanted $50 to give me an estimate. WHAT??? Why? "Some people aren't serious about getting the repair." Well, slap my head and give CARSTAR a really bad review. Shop #3 - replace the entire mechanism - remove and replace the entire mirror apparatus, paint and blend the passenger door, front quarter panel and the cowl of the mirror to match the rest of the car. This shop came in at $2,800. Now I'm thinking the $1,500 estimate is looking reasonable. Lee's Autobody was Shop #4. Mr. Lee looked at the broken mirror, determined that the mechanism to move the mirror was working perfectly, so that didn't need to be replaced. Just need to replace the glass mirror, replace, paint and blend the new cowl. $350. My eyes lit up. I've found my man!! All through the process I found Mr. Lee to be forthright and honest; going out of his way to assure me that the job could be done quickly. I entrusted my car to Lee's Auto-body and had my car back in 2 days. Mr. Lee completed the work to my complete satisfaction. As a bonus, he popped out a dent in the rear quarter panel, AT NO CHARGE!!! The work he performed was to my satisfaction, his prices were reasonable and his honesty and personality were exceptional. I would highly recommend Lee's Auto-body as your first stop should you need auto-body repair. From my experience, you will not be disappointed. Thumbs UP to LEE'S AUTO-BODY. Thank you Mr. Lee.
