This brought down any positive energy you had walked in with. So the atmosphere in this place is a downer. If you are depressed- don't come in here!!! Order to go!!!!! The employees are not the cream of the crop. Our server was decent, he was nice enough. The only reason they got the extra star. (No photos of our food,, we just wanted to get out of there!!)

Mid afternoon on a Saturday the bar was lively and a few outdoor tables too. Service was spotty with just one or two servers trying to do it all. Two of our burgers were a bit overcooked and one was a black hard hockey puck. The server had the cooks remake that one and it was the best. I'd recommend that burger with mushrooms.

The place was very busy for lunch on a Wednesday. The people in our party tried the soup of the day, a hearty chicken dumpling soup, two burgers, and a side salad. The burger tasted like a frozen patty rather than handmade. The bun and toppings were great. My patty was a bit overdone. Still, it was tasty. We received great service from the co-owner, Rene. Each night they have various specials available. It's great that Holdingford has a restaurant again, and I'm glad to see there was so much business. I hope they continue to do well, and will definitely be back.
