Top Golf does a terrible job of containing the golf balls inside their enclosure…read more My car was hit by a stray ball while driving past one of their locations, resulting in over $2,500 in damages. Top Golf is self-insured, and if they pay for the damage, it's very difficult to get a decent settlement. It took endless emails, estimates, and conversations with their "loss management" department to get me car repaired. If this is the way they operate for that kind of loss, what would happen if a customer was injured while visiting a Top Golf facility? I recommend going to a relatively safe restaurant or bar, and leaving your golfing to a driving range or Golf course. I've been a golfer for a long time. But, I want no part of an establishment that treats people the way Top Golf does if there's a problem. Top Golf is owned by Callaway. I may even sell my Callaway clubs due to Top Golf's management practices.

Too bad it was December so we didn't have enough time to check out the short course before sunset. Customer service at the pro shop could be a bit more professional, IMO. We wanted to shower since we are going to be on the road for 3 hours after the round, and before we arrive at our next destination. We were told to get towels at the pro shop. I waited in line, yes, line of 1. There were 2 ladies at the counter, one leaning against the counter with her back facing me (I think it was the cart girl), the other facing me, both were busy chatting away. While the store is well stocked with helpful and professional folks it's just a personal decision that I choose not to patronize the Dick's stores due to, in my opinion, bad corporate decision making. Again, a personal belief that public companies should maintain political neutrality and avoid the adoption of woke policies, and focus instead on their primary objective of providing valuable products and services to customers. It appears that I'm far from the only one who feels this way but it shouldn't come as a surprise because at company adopting controversial and divisive policies should know that they likely run the risk of alienating a significant portion of their customer base. It's probably the case since Dick's continues to drop in profitability due to the nature of policies the company either directly or indirectly supported. Don't get me wrong, free speech is vital regardless, and free trade and business should always be protected. I'm just personally ticked at any company, regardless of politics or beliefs, who feel it necessary to implement, in my opinion, stupid policies on their customers and employees. Common sense dictates that maintaining political neutrality best allows companies to focus on serving all customers, regardless of their personal beliefs, and ensures that they do not lose business due to divisive politics. Bottom line: If companies are truly committed to addressing social issues, they should focus on substantive actions, such as improving working conditions, investing in education and training programs, or contributing to local community initiatives.

They also have a nice variety of sport-specific gear-- baseball, football, basketball, soccer, etc. They offer leisure and/or sport equipment, such as for cycling, hiking, indoor exercise/training, fishing, hunting, etc. Their shoe department is sufficient, but it isn't extensive. They offer the major shoe brands for running, walking, training, and lifestyle use, but you're not going to find A TON of styles for each; it isn't a SHOE store with that kind of inventory. But it's nice to see what you can get in-store, or if the store can order something for you from their website (dickssportinggoods.com). I love HIIT workouts at OTF and I enjoy sports and being outdoors, so this store is my little slice of heaven for meeting all my sport-related needs!

As a retired military and law enforcement weapons trainer, it's refreshing to talk to gun counter staff that actually know the products.
