On the few time he did return the solutions appear to have been hurried (e.g. dabbing some tiles with mastic before re-laying, slabs not correctly primed with a slurry prior to laying etc.). A year later and we've now decided to undertake the repairs ourselves. Jim comes across a nice fellow, but unfortunately the quality of both work and aftercare is poor.

This means that they are expecting me to PAY FOR A FURTHER TWO YEARS OF A THREE YEAR CONTRACT. I'm a pensioner and I really can't afford to lay money out unnecessarily. I've been in communication today with one of their partners and he has made veiled threats about payment. I think it's unfair that I should be asked to pay a probably significant and unreasonable amount of money for something I no longer require. My advice: If you deal with this company, please be careful what you agree to.

We hired Kango to undertake extensive building work in our home, they insisted that a deposit of several thousand be paid to them months before the work was due to start. After we paid the money, James Robson failed to show up to appointments with us and stopped responding at all to phone calls, voice-mails or e-mails. Kango, James Robson and Asa Lowther disappeared completely from our lives and ignored my demand that they return the thousands of pounds of our money until after I launched a legal action. We remain out of pocket to the tune of several hundred pounds in legal fees, I gave then the chance to settle the matter confidentially if they proved that they could do the right thing and reimburse the legal fees, they refused. I would advise others to be very wary.
