I took over my alarm from a previous occupier a year ago. Unfortunately, it's taken me that time to realise that it is really not suitable for my requirements. I called them today to advise that I didn't want to continue my contract with them. Their receptionist advised me that I had signed to agree to their terms and conditions. This means that they are expecting me to PAY FOR A FURTHER TWO YEARS OF A THREE YEAR CONTRACT. I'm a pensioner and I really can't afford to lay money out unnecessarily. I've been in communication today with one of their partners and he has made veiled threats about payment. I think it's unfair that I should be asked to pay a probably significant and unreasonable amount of money for something I no longer require. My advice: If you deal with this company, please be careful what you agree to. read more
