Danny Do was absolutely incredible when my wife and I bought our first home. It was April 2021. Even after months of preparation, the process of home buying was still so intimidating. Once we started working with Danny, our stress turned into confidence and excitement. Danny led us step by step through home buying in a way that I have now learned to be truly special and rare.
From the beginning, Danny was unbelievably responsive, usually messaging my wife and me within an hour or two of reaching out to him. Whenever we sent him a new listing we wanted to see, Danny immediately set up a visit, even same day. We were amazed by how quickly we would go from texting Danny to receiving an email from DocuSign to formalize the visit. Once at the property, Danny would very patiently lead us through and share his feedback, giving us plenty of time to carefully tour the house.
Danny also impressed us with his knowledge of the real estate market and his intuition for pricing. The first house we fell in love with came listed at $890,000. After the tour, we immediately knew we wanted to buy it. We went straight from the house to lunch to talk strategy and set up our first ever offer. He asked us what the maximum we'd be willing to offer was, which was $1,000,000. He recommended we make that our bid. We asked to come in at $980,000, hoping to save $20,000. Danny honored our wishes. In the end, despite Danny helping us put in one of the very first offers for the house, it was sold to another buyer for $980,000. If we had just followed Danny's advice, we likely would have won the house. We learned that Danny's judgment was spot on and followed his recommendations from then on!
Danny further wowed us with his negotiation skills. When we finally found another house we could imagine as our forever home, he helped us put together a competitive offer that was quickly accepted. The seller initially told us he would include the refrigerator, dishwasher, ovens, and washing machines in the sale of the house, which was a huge help to us given the astronomical cost of new appliances due to supply shortages from COVID. However, after our inspection revealed several costly issues with the house leading us to ask the sellers to pay for the repairs, they suddenly told us they would no longer be including the appliances in the sale. We were shocked at the prospect of now having to buy $8,000-10,000 worth of new appliances. Danny leapt into action. He wrote a thoughtful letter that connected with the sellers, while also negotiating hard to keep the appliances in the sale. We were so relieved when Danny notified us the sellers agreed again to give us the appliances. To this day, my wife and I joke that this is "Danny's fridge" and "Danny's washing machine," since we would not have them without him. It is truly amazing having a real estate agent in your corner that has the skills, tact, and initiative to negotiate in your interest.
For all the prospective home buyers out there, my wife and I highly recommend you choose Danny Do as your real estate agent. His attentive service, quick responsiveness, excellent real estate knowledge, and valuable negotiation skills will help give you confidence in your home purchase and throughout this stressful process. Many of my friends who purchased a home at the same time we did were envious our real estate agent was so heavily involved and available to help. They complained that their agents would not call them back or try that hard to set up visits to new listings. Worst of all, they felt like their agents pushed them to make a quick deal and didn't advocate for them in negotiations. We were truly lucky to have worked with a trustworthy, hardworking real estate agent like Danny. If you want to have an excellent buying experience, please reach out to Danny! read more
