Dr. Danner is an awesome vet. He always answers our questions, is patient and it's clear he enjoys what he does. Everyone else who works there is always happy and also clear they love what they do.

This review might be long but this story needs to be told. My cat was being treated by our primary veterinarian for a severe case of stomatitis. After several weeks of being on antibiotics with no improvement, it was suggested by our primary veterinarian, that we make an appointment to see a veterinary dental specialist. I found All Creatures (Broken Arrow) by doing a google search. I drove 40+ minutes from Collinsville with the hopes of getting some kind of relief for my cat, who was in visible pain and discomfort. Let me just say that the women that work the front desk were lovely and really seemed to care about the patients. Unfortunately, the same could not be said about the veterinarian, Dr. Rust. I brought in the medications, doctors notes and even gave Dr. Rust a complete run down of my cats treatment up until that point. Almost immediately, I conveyed to Dr. Rusk that I wanted a full exam of my cats mouth, even if that meant putting her under sedation. Dr. Rusk replied, "we're not going to do all that". Dr. Rusk literally did not lay a single finger on my cat at any point during the appointment. He didn't look in her mouth, nothing. He said that he was going to prescribe another medicine and "that should work". Then he tells me "the medicine is not here, I'll have to drive to the other location or come back another day". To say that I was flabbergasted and appalled would be an understatement. I was charged $100 dollars for medicine that I didn't get and for an appointment where the doctor literally didn't even look in my cats mouth. I ended up bringing my cat to another veterinary dental clinic and what they found was shocking. I've included a picture of the xrays. My cat not only had a severe case of stomatitis, she also needed a full mouth extraction, something a topical medicine wasn't going to fix. I can't speak for the other locations or doctors but All Creatures Broken Arrow should NOT advertise themselves as a veterinary dental facility because clearly they are not.

Calling with many questions, Kelly, was most helpful and knowledgeable. I am not even a customer yet!

We moved to Tulsa in December '23, with a 6 year old, Czech import German Shepherd that we'd had for a few months. She had been used for breeding, required a C-section, and was no longer useful to the breeder. As a rescue, the breeder was familiar with us (we own her daughter), so he contacted us and surrendered her to us. We had her thoroughly vetted when she arrived in Oklahoma. After a few weeks in our home we contacted our trainer and got her into training as soon as possible. She was sweet and a good member of our pack, but largely unsocialized. When we brought her home it was time to address the last step in preparing her for her new life in our home, having her spayed. We made an appointment with Dr Thomas. After anesthetizing her the doctor tried to call us to tell us that she had a spay scar. When we called him back we discussed the c-section scar and decided to wait a week or so and start over. When we picked her up we found that while he had her anesthetized, he decided to perform surgery on her eyelid for some small defect I had not even noticed and we had not approved. I wish I had seen the red flag. Two weeks later we dropped her off to be spayed. We called to see if she was ready to be picked up and were told to wait until five. I walked over to pick her up a little before five and immediately noticed that she looked unstable. Her gums were pale and I asked if I should run her to Oklahoma Veterinary Specialists. Dr Thomas said no, took her back into his office and started IV fluids. After wasting what turned out to be the last 30 minutes I had to save her, he sent us home with a vet tech carrying the IV bag. I helped the still unstable dog. When we got to the door the vet tech gave me the IV bag and we've never heard from them again. After observing her for a couple of minutes I put her in the car and raced to OVS, calling to let them know the situation and that we were headed their way. Dr Hodges, who has helped us many times in emergencies, stayed and waited for us, rushing us in when we arrived. He worked on her for another 30 minutes. She coded twice and was unable to be revived a second time. She died of blood loss from internal bleeding. Dr.Thomas or his office never called to see how she was. We filed a complaint with the State Board. Imagine the State Board of Veterinary Medicine being unresponsive in the State of Oklahoma. Would you expect anything else? If you love your pet, stay away from Dr Chet Thomas and City Veterinary Hospital at 36th and Peoria. I wish we had. We obviously live close by and every time I see that building I feel sad and angry all over again.
