I called her vet today to see if we could get her in soon. They were booked and recommended we take her to Tulsa Animal Urgent care at 61st and Mingo. I had no idea we had an Urgent care for animals I looked online and the prices were very reasonable for a vet. We took our baby there last night. We got right in, no appt needed. Front desk staff both were super nice and friendly, they got out Addie all checked in and put us in a room. We were in the room only a few minutes before the Dr came in (Dr. Suzanne Caruso, DVM). She was so Gental as out Addie is such a queen (drama queen too, lol). She liked her over and then took her back to do a deeper exam with her techs. (Just like human kids, they do better without parents around). In a short wait she came back to talk to us about her diagnosis. Dr Caruso's diagnosis was arthritis which I was relieved, she did not feel we needed x-rays but did leave it up to us. I loved that they just did not do them and it cost us more if she felt they were not really needed. She recommended a monthly injection and we can come there to get it for Ms Addie. The overall moment coming in the door to going out the door I could tell they all cared about doing what was best for our little queen Addie

We brought our pup to this clinic and he was being seen by the vet in less than five minutes. She was kind, compassionate and caring. Our dog ended up with 14 stitches in his face and is wearing a cone -- for 10 days to two weeks. They gave him meds and took care to not only address his pain needs, but were also kind about our distress over the whole situation. I would HIGHLY recommend this group.

They have cleaned our dogs teeth and did a great job. They are so sweet to our doggies and my dogs haven't felt very nervous because they are so kind and loving to them. We had to put our Maltese/Papillon mix down at 17 years old in 2024. The experience was tough to do but because Dr Mac was so fatherly to my doggie Skipper and us, this experience was easier to go through because of his kindness and his love for animals. All the helpers that have helped our dogs have been great as well. We boarded Skipper 4-5 time and he looked good and could tell the workers gave him attention. He kissed the helper goodbye each time (would much rather be with his parents though) we picked him up. We now have Toto, our Havanese to keep getting great health care until he goes to doggy heaven many years from now we hope. She was the biggest she's ever been and her poop was normal. When I picked her up, she had lost a pound, was very weak, stumbling and covered in poop. She had poop all over her feet, legs, neck and face. She had severe diarrhea and very lethargic. Her nails were not trimmed and there was a hole in her bag of fluids. They lost her blanket and when I asked for the wet food that I had left with her, they said she didn't have any. She now has no appetite and is having to be force fed. Not only that, but they let me take her like that. In those conditions, no attempt to clean her, no vet to explain why she looks and acts this way after their care, nothing. I left my baby in their care, and she came out in the worst condition she's ever been in. Update: She passed away August 26th.

I'm worried about my dog who is clearly suffering; i don't deserve to be screamed at because I called an entire *two times* trying to make an appointment . Because i am an idiot, i continued with the call and made the appointment. Despite me straight-up telling the very bad incompetent doctor that my dog had an ear infection, he swore that I was wrong and he did not have an ear infection, but rather, a pulled muscle. i believed him and started giving him painkillers for that. When the painkillers ran out and my dog was still miserable, i took him to a different vet. Guess what the problem was?? an ear infection!! and i didn't even have to get screamed at to find that out. Still, everyone has bad days. Whatever. But today i saw someone wearing a "Carbondale Vet Hospital" T-shirt. Thats right, they cant manage to take care of animals or be a good vet, but they can sure screen print some merch!!! Opportunistic and disgusting. NEVER go to these scammers.

We took him to Petfolk where he had an exam, x-ray, and a bottle of steroid pills for just under $700. We were told not to start the steroids until Tuesday because we had given him the dog version of ibuprofen. Baxter died a few hours after we got home. I think it was his time. We didn't know exactly how old he was when we got him, but he was already a senior and we'd had him over 6 years. His vet estimated he was 15. He didn't get good care the first part of his life because he was a puppy mill rescue. Even if Petfolks could have done something to keep him alive another day, he couldn't have lived long. The x-ray revealed all his internal organs were diseased. My only regret was that we didn't give him pain medication the last day. I found Dr. King and his staff to be very knowledgeable and professional. The clinic is clean and well run.
