Kids bouncing off the walls at home? Wanna learn martial arts? Looking for a new gym? Look no…read morefurther! This place is the best. The location is super cool, the people (kids and adults) are so nice and really work as a team, and the head professor, Professor Alex, is amazing at what he does. He engages with everyone, praises the students when they nail a technique and is always on top of his classes, making sure everyone is on the same page and understands what they need to do. My daughter has been in martial arts since she was 3 (she's going to be 9 this year), and it was extremely important to me to find an instructor who knew how to really handle a kids class. I've seen coaches in other gyms just ramble off techniques and not really pay attention to if the kids are grasping it. I'm happy to see that Professor Alex is on top of it. He makes sure the kids are doing techniques CORRECTLY and confidently. Her confidence has skyrocketed and she's made friends with all the kids in her class. The adults class is also spectacular. Everyone is so kind and willing to help. If you don't understand something, Professor Alex will demonstrate it and work with you until you do. The energy is so positive and upbeat in this gym. !!TEACH YOUR KIDS TO DEFEND THEMSELVES!! I'm so glad we found this place!!

I had some previous martial arts experience before joining Taekwondo 101, but I can say with…read moreconfidence that this is by far the best, and most self defense focused martial arts school I've been a part of. I love being a student at this school, and the great part about training here is that what we learn is not only fun, but it's very practical as well. From my personal experience, most martial arts schools (regardless of style) nowadays are focused on teaching their students with just competing in competitions in mind. At Taekwondo 101 you will be more than prepared for competitions if you're wanting to compete, but most importantly you'll be prepared for the real world and self defense situations. Grand Master Joseph Veach has an abundance of knowledge in not only Taekwondo, but a lot of other martial arts as well. If you want your child to be prepared to defend his or herself, this is the place. If you're an adult, like myself, and you want to learn traditional Taekwondo, as well as practical self defense, this is the place. Come check it out for yourself!
