I previously gave Michael and his business five stars; however, after my initial review, I…read moreinspected the flooring and noticed two long cracks (see the pictures). Part of the problem is that he told me he would sand and seal any cracks in the concrete. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like he did that. I also found two areas of my garage floor that looked dull, with hardly any epoxy applied. I mentioned the cracks to Michael, and he said he was going to seal them, but you can still see the cracks. His work is not worth the money I paid. Before noticing the cracks and the dull parts in the epoxy floor, I hired him to paint two accent walls inside my home and the garage wall. He told me he would prime the walls and then apply two coats of paint. However, the garage doesn't look like it has two coats. I had to ask him to make sure I had two coats and to paint the spots that were still white. The accent walls inside the house included the fireplace wall and the ceiling (see photos). On the fireplace wall, you could tell there were a couple of spots that were missed, and since it's an accent wall, there were no fine lines separating it from the other walls (the lines were crooked). Regarding the master bedroom ceiling, he failed to remove the lighting fixtures or at the very least cover them up with tape. Unfortunately, the dark paint got on them and he did not attempt to clean them up. If you look at the pictures, you can see all the spots that needed repainting. These spots were about a day old after the job was completed. Ultimately, I had to hire another painter to redo the entire painting job. So essentially, I paid twice for the same work. The second painter did an excellent job. Prior to hiring the second painter, I mentioned the above discrepancies to Michael and asked him to come out and fix it. He said he would contact me with a date and time, but after several weeks, I heard nothing from him. Keep in mind, I had already hired someone else to fix it. I decided to text Michael again to ask if he was coming out, and he did not respond. I followed up with another message, telling him not to worry because I hired someone else to redo the work. I received no reply from him, which tells me a lot about his work ethic and customer service. I hope this review helps other potential customers and Michael as a business owner reflect on what he can do better to improve his reputation. I wish him well. Unfortunately, I noticed that after my initial review, someone else also hired him and had a bad experience.
