I…read morefound Dr. Bush through a family friend because I needed some prescriptions to be taken over (just recently moved back to MA) and wanted to meet a local therapist in case I needed/wanted their services later on (you never know when some random anxiety producing situation may arise!). He takes Blue Cross Clue Shield - however if you have Harvard Pilgrim (which I do) he is already in their system so you can get a certain number of visits reimbursed. The building he is in is very easy to find and there is a ton of street parking. The waiting area is nice enough - basic chairs w/ magazine - only worth mentioning because they have a hot/cold water cooler there with teas which is a nice touch for people like me that perpetually show up early. He is very nice and has a very nonthreatening demeanor (idk, Ive had some male doctors that are kinda intimidating/surly). From his card it seems like he specializes in all ages - kids, teens, adults, and family services. My family friend that I got the recommendation from saw him for many many years, so thats always a good sign.

He spent a great deal of time listening to my concerns in order to understand my condition. He also asked me a lot of follow up questions to pinpoint the root causes of my condition. He then explained to me, clearly, a therapeutic approach that includes lifestyle modifications and alternative options of treatments. He very well acknowledged my preferences of treatment options and tailored my treatment towards that. Dr. Nineberg has saved my life on many occasions…read more I started seeing him almost 20 years ago when I was going through a very deep withdrawal with depression and anxiety. I'll never forget what he said to me on those many occasions I was in his office. "We'll get through this together" I clung to those words with all the strength I could muster and the belief that this man could help me. Since then he has seen the best and worst of me and went out of his way to help me every time. Contrary to another review, I have experienced the man at his most compassionate and caring - he really gives a crap, unlike one or two shrinks that I've had the unfortunate experience of working with. If you are desperate and are struggling, please give this man a call, you won't be disappointed.

The fact that they promote this office as a place to receive therapy services is abominable. He saw a new client every 10-15 minutes, and I'd be very interested to see how he's billing these sessions, and what the insurance companies would say if they saw how he conducts business.
