This woman made my 15 pictures a nightmare I cried countless times, from using behind the scene…read morepictures of me without permission to being late, hurrying my makeup and hair (they also arrived late with the photographer) and cutting my time short on the property the pictures were set to be taken by over an hour (which we paid extra for), this photographer doesn't care about you or how you look in your pictures, she is rude, disrespectful and quite frankly cruel. I wish I had never come across her page, now my memories of my sweet 15 pictures which my father paid over $5,000 for will always be of this horrible woman. If I could give 0 stars I would. Update: she replied to me privately so no one could see as she tried to belittle me. Think again. This woman doesn't even have the decency to apologize for turning an experience that was supposed to be fun and once in a lifetime into something that I will always remember bitterly, my parents did reach out to her and express that I was upset, they were given a reply basically stating that they signed away their rights to any picture she took of me. But let me elaborate even more. I loved your work in the beginning, because I ideally wanted unique design studios but they were too pricey for my budget unfortunately (which in retrospect I would've paid probably less then I ended up paying with alina) when I commented to my makeup artist that that's how I found alina, the makeup artist told Alina something which her childish self somehow interpreted as "bad mouthing her" when in fact I was comparing her work to a studio I loved and she had absolutely no reason to be upset at that but whatever. If I hated her from the moment I met her, I would never have let my parents hire her. I actually really liked her in the beginning but unfortunately I was just given a facade. I was not an angry child no matter how much she wants to justify her actions in saying that, but even if I was, wouldn't it make sense that, as the adult and "professional" in this situation, she should have had a little more decorum, patience and empathy? Not that that was the case because like I said, I did literally everything she asked. Let's move on to the timing issue. We booked I believe 2-3 hours at a studio to take the pictures. This photographer and her team arrived about an hour late. We were paying for this time and this photographer couldn't be bothered to show up on time. Which resulted in my makeup and hair being hurried because we had to leave since the next appointment was there to use the studio. Then we went to a naaaaasty part of the beach. You know the dog beach? The muddy part at the end? Yeah, there. My session ended abruptly and with loads of attitude and hostility from the photographer to a point where my mother looked at me and was like ?? what just happened, all because she told me (more like pressured me, but whatever I had the option to decline I guess) to step into this muddy water, and when I did, my foot immediately sank about a foot into the sand at which point I immediately jumped out. This apparently offended the photographer and she decided that was it. Anyway, moving on, you can see here how she immediately results to insulting me and the mental state she assumes (incorrectly) that I am in, "anger management" "I hope you heal emotionally" spoken like a true gaslighter, and I don't like that term, I don't use it loosely, but it's exactly what she is. Furthermore, like a true narcissist, compliments her work again and again despite the fact that she's known for a long time we weren't happy with the results, she never made any effort to even consider that not everyone sees things the same as she does or thinks the same as her and unfortunately her work with MY pictures came out in a way that I did not like . This photographer never cared about how I felt, how I wanted my pictures, or how I looked. This photographer only cared about her "art". She never consulted me for what kind of set I wanted, she just told me to buy clothes to match her "vision" or whatever. This woman seems to think that my review was to target her, but fortunately for her I don't care about her that much. I left this review to warn other parents of little girls wanting a fun, understanding and overall professional photographer for their little girls pictures. Don't make the same mistake my poor parents made. You and your child will regret it. And ps. Alina, fortunately I have gotten older since then and have learned that some people just suck and you can't be angry at that, so I forgive you. Be well girlfriend

Her use of natural light is amazing and something that everyone notices in her work. She does not edit her pictures much, which is something I was really looking for. I didn't want over saturated color (like many photographers do), but wanted natural, beautiful photos. She also takes time in finding the perfect spots to take pictures. The backgrounds of my photos were gorgeous. She will definitely find the best setting with the best lighting for you. The talent is definitely there! Katie works with her husband, Cito, and they were very nice, fun and easy to work with. They arrived on time and got coverage of the entire day. They were very organized with their time- - everything was planned according to a schedule that was prepared for us weeks before the wedding. They also guided us through the portraits/poses, which is nice and helpful. Cito ran our photobooth and took great shots of the guests.. very fun idea! Everyone loved the photobooth! Anyways, I highly recommend them. I am in love with all of my wedding photos. And I get comments all the time about my photos-- I am constantly asked who the photographer was and told that they look like they came out of a magazine.

She blows them out of the water with her eye for beautiful shots. Not only that, but she was great to work with, so friendly and very professional. One thing though I was a little disappointed with is that some pictures on the beach, including my ceremony were blown out so you can't see the sky. This is because Katie's style is to use natural light without a flash and no editing. I totally respect that and knew about it before hand, but it was a little disappointed by those photos. After some editing on photoshop I was I able to edit the sky back in, but for the price I paid $$$ I would have appreciated if that editing came with my photos. However, as a whole I was very happy with her work.

His photos are so unique and artistic which caught our eyes. After extensive research, we still couldn't shake off the feeling that Vicens was the perfect photographer for us. Thus, we were ecstatic we were able to book Vicens for our wedding at Nestldown. (Tip: Book him early because he's that good!) We then had our phone consultation with Shannon who was very patient with our long list of questions and put our jitters at ease. Then came to our wedding day, Vicens was absolutely great to work with. He made sure we were comfortable - it's like we have known him forever even though we had just met him that morning. His bubbly personality and infectious smile was contagious to those around him which made our day even more special. It's extremely pleasurable to see the amount of passion that Vicens has behind his camera. He's happy every second to capture our love story and tells it so well especially through our wedding book that he made for us which was custom ordered from Italy. I recommend them to everyone for the reasons below. Shannon was so organized. She was great with instructions for the contract and setting up a date that would work for everyone. She also gave great style and location advice. This was our first shoot so we definitely needed the guidance. Most importantly, her communication was wonderful!! She was polite, fun, and responded in a timely manner. She also monitored the weather, which is important in the Bay Area. Vicen, the photographer, made us feel so comfortable, especially because we are a bit shy. He showed us how to pose and kindly started with simple poses before pushing us to think outside the box. He also has great attention to detail. My hair always parts funny and he noticed his small nuance fact and helped us fix it to get a good shot. He was on time and even went to scope out the place early. We loved it. His creativity and passion showed. Although we haven't see the final photos yet, we had a wonderful experience and Vicen showed us some on his digital camera. They looked really artsy and amazing. It is tough to catch the lighting, angels, and moments he was able to show us. We can't wait to see the final products and really enjoyed this experience. We live on the West Coast, and contacted Cristina for our son's first birthday party, which we planned in Miami to be near all of our friends and family. We had never met before, but we made all the arrangements via email with no problem. The day of the event, she showed up early and captured every beautiful moment of the big day. She doesn't feel like she's intruding with her camera, she just lets the moments happen and catches them one at a time. I love her vibrant photography and her photo style is uniquely her own. As if her photos (and turn around time) weren't amazing enough, her personality is one of her best qualities. In fact, one of my fondest memories of the day was shortly after my son stomped his foot in a pile of cake frosting. Cristina stayed with me to help wash his feet until all the icing was gone!
