They say life is what happens when you are busy making other plans. That was the case when my mother and father's collective health tumbled at the same time, unexpectedly. In the frantic rush to learn everything medically that was happening with my parents, the last thing anyone wants to do is stress over the difference between palliative care and hospice care, or the difference between a home health aide and a CN. In anycase, during an incredibly emotional and trying time, I found myself needing in home care for my mother and after hitting a dead end with another company (rude and apathetic. Don't want to call them out, but their name rhymes with monstellation), found DanielCare. I called and spoke with the receptionist (I believe), who took my information and said I would be receiving a call from Daniel himself. Within 15 minutes I got a call from Daniel as he was en route to the office. He was understanding and patient as I rattled off what had happened in the prior week and before I put the cart before the horse, he offered to meet me at my parents house in a couple of hours. For peace and quiet, I asked that we meet at his office. He agreed. David and Andrea (in charge of Intake, I believe) were amazing. It seemed as though they weren't going to be able to offer the services we needed, but despite that, spent about an hour talking me through the different options and routes I could explore. There was no reason for them to continue speaking with me once it was established that it was highly unlikely that they would be able to help, but they were kind and patient. My mother has early stage dementia. She is also a hoarder. Needless to say she's not the easiest customer for live in care. Compounding those issues, it's a 3 hour round trip drive every time I go see her, and currently that's not even an option given the Covid crisis. Danielcare have seamlessly supported my Mother's needs for about 2 years now. They have always provided the best level of care, balanced with dealing with my Mother's degenerative mental state. They have worked to ensure that both the current and new caregivers have taken all steps to ensure that any potential risk of Covid exposure is mitigated with a 2 week quarantine. All caregivers have established a warm relationship with my Mom, and taken every step to ensure that she's safe and secure. I can't say enough good about both the service and Daniel himself who's made himself available on weekends and holidays when issues arose with nothing but top shelf care for my Mom. I am not one to post reviews, but my family had such an excellent experience with DanielCare that I wanted to post on yelp. Our family member was recently in a Hospice situation and wanted to spend her last days in her home. We needed 24/7 help to make that happen. Daniel was so responsive, professional, and compassionate to our situations. He and his team met with us and worked to find the perfect match. Within 1 day we had the very best home care aide we could have hoped for. She went out of her way to care for our loved one like it was someone in her own family. She was in such good hands that it made all the difference in our difficult family situation. Daniel himself was very hands on as he continually checked up to make sure everything was working out, which is was! We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Daniel Care. Everyone we came in contact with was kind, knowledgeable and caring. Our team: Rose, Sheila, Jessica and Myra were outstanding in every way. I felt like they were caring for my mother with the same genuine care as they would a family member. The team was incredibly careful, wearing masks, sanitizing, and making sure to follow all protocols put in place due to Covid 19. I spoke with Daniel himself several times. DanielCare has proven itself to be a patient-centered, patient, careful and caring home health aide provider. Daniel, the CEO, has been personally involved in my mother's care insuring that her home was appropriately prepared for her physical and health care needs, insuring that the home health aide and my mother had the right chemistry with each other, and insuring that he has substitute aides when available however the short notice. The aides sharing my mother's home are knowledgeable about their tasks, friendly, discrete and kind. I can only speak from experience, but I have truthfully never met such amazing help until I met my aide from Danielcare. I had a hip replacement in 2015 and I didn't know how to walk anymore. The therapist and aide came to my house to help me out of my car after my surgery and they were so sweet. Before my surgery, the owner himself came to meet me, my husband, and our dog. He even walked through our home and recommended ways to move furniture to allow for better maneuvering post-surgery. This agency is by far the worst in the area. None of the aids are trained or licensed and they don't have a clue. The owner will take your money then screw you over. DO NOT ever hire anyone from this company. Oh and none of the aids speak a lick of english. In fact most are illegal immigrants right off the boat and paid minimum wage but the agency charges an arm an a leg. If you care for your elders NEVER use this agency. read more

Danielcare is really the absolute best. They were extremely kind in their care of my bed-bound 75 year old sister, even though, in her state, she would often rail at them totally unnecessarily.
