Lucas is the best, look no further! I recently moved to Boston from the west coast, and was pretty…read moreoverwhelmed by the very different housing market. I was nervous about realtor fees (we don't have these in Seattle) and found a place, prior to my arrival, via Craigslist. Upon arrival I realized it was a complete dump, leaving me homeless, on a budget, and with two days to find a place before the first. After spending five hours viewing six places around boston no human being should ever live in, talking to three sketchy agents, and calling over sixteen realtors (who literally laughed out loud when I told them my budget/location) I wandered into Encore Realty and met Lucas.
I had zero expectations, figured I would only be shown properties outside my budget, but also basically had nothing left to lose at this point.
Lucas, despite being on his way out of the office, sat down and discussed options with me. Even though I'm a student on a budget, he took me seriously and addressed all of my concerns. He was incredibly professional, honest, helpful, and made me a priority. Instead of laughing at my budget, he found me a number of places within it, which we planned to view that afternoon. Before I even got a chance to see them, he managed to get me a viewing for a place that had just opened up and had a large number of people who wanted to also see it and sign a lease. I got to view it before any of them, and had a lease signed and deposit down by that afternoon.
I ended up with a beautiful little studio (no roommates!), fully furnished, with a great landlady, in a prime location, all utilities included, and below budget!
After hearing countless horror stories from other people I know about realtors/unfair fees/bad apartments, I'm so happy that I met Lucas and ended up with an amazing place to live! I can't recommend him enough!
