So, I found another office that put it back on in a day. I can not recommend this office. It's like an assembly line in there. And...don't get me started with the DOG in the Office.

They use certain tactics to drag you into paying for something you verbally told them you wouldn't pay for. They use the complications of insurance to confuse you and make you pay for a service regardless of your insurance covering it or not. For me I specifically told them, if the service I was looking to get done was not covered, I will not be doing it with them. They lied to me and said it would be covered and when I came back the following week for the follow up, they said "we apologize but we were wrong about your coverage and it will not infact be covered". This was after the fact of me saying "if it's not covered, do not do the service/procedure". I hope any others attending this business will see this review and stay away from them. Blatantly lied just to steal a couple hundred from a young college student.

I have been going to Patel dental regularly for 2-3 years and have repeatedly mentioned my fears…read more Suffering from intermittent tooth pain since 6/25/2026, I finally visited Patel dental on 7/15/2026. Absolutely terrified of the prospect of having extensive dental work and absolutely worn-out suffering with tooth pain for over 2 weeks, I must have angered Darshan Patel. His egotistical driven anger took over for which I suffered even more pain from his brutal treatment, repeatedly poking my injured tooth which is absolutely appalling for a health care professional. He had already identified the problem tooth with an x-ray and exam, so his repeated poking was unjustified. Patel had only bad news including a referral for a root canal which heightened my fear and anxiety. Just an extremely terrifying day and I will never go back. The antibiotics that he prescribed did help, however, still having difficulty with tooth and also another crown on other side, that Patel has been so-called 'watching' for over a year but never really admitted that the previous dentist failed to install crown properly. I am still very troubled from July's horrible dental visit. You cannot imagine what it's like going through life afraid of everything, and then to endure an angry dentist resulting in brutal treatment from a so-called health professional. appalling!

The imaging was brought up on a large screen and he pointed out everything without me asking. My husband had an earlier appointment with him, because he works closely with the oral surgeon who will do his implants. It was pristine and that's not easy to keep clean.

I had cleanings every 3-4 months (which were done competently), and the last dentist I saw there said I had horrible "periodontal disease" and would require extensive care. Even with expensive treatments, "Once a perio patient, always a perio patient". My husband had been begging me to try his dentist (Dr. Prieto) for years, and I finally relented. I couldn't believe the difference! Dr. Prieto couldn't have been nicer or more thorough. When I asked him how much my periodontal disease had advanced, he said, "What periodontal disease?" I was in shock! I explained my care at Coast, and he just shook his head and said, "Yes. I used to work for them". He told me I DIDN'T have perio disease, and would not require the treatment plan as outlined by Coast Dental. I just needed my routine cleanings and yearly exams. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Prieto or his staff. I get the best cleanings, and ALL the staff seem genuinely happy to see and care for you--- from the front desk to checkout.

I have Aetna Dental that gives me 2 free cleanings per year. These CROOKS charged me $35 for a cleaning with the excuse you need extra cleaning which is total BS..Then the dentist worked on my teeth and the BULLDOG LADY at the front reception totaled out the job and gave me the out of pocket price after consulting with my insurance company...I paid in full and went on my way....Then these crooks started sending a bill for $70.00, Every month for the past 3 months they have sent an invoice stating I owe $70.00, these bills arrived after about 6 months from my last visit, after they assumed rightly, that I would not return to these CROOKS. I spoke with my dental carrier and they had no idea why this dentist was sending me a bill! They checked their records and assured me they had paid their portion and when i checked and told them what I paid, they told me I OWED NOTHING and to disregard the bills. This appears to be a scam from a dental office that is very shady. That nasty, bulldog receptionist is really a disgrace and should not be dealing with the public.
