We have gotten the dogs Christmas photos for multiple years and in multiple places. For the last…read morethree years we're worked with Julie. Each time Julie had gotten us great photos. It's been fun and painless. Think about what it takes to get 5 pups to stay still and pose for a photo! Julie does it and makes it look easy. This year Covid closed down the usual location. We then contacted Julie and, not surprisingly, found she was prepared to meet quarantine precautions and to take the photos. The only challenge was needing a Santa, but she had a newly cleaned costume and as I was going to be there... Julie set us up, posed the dogs, got their attention and took the photos. We reviewed the photos while there. A few days later we were able to review the proofs, download and pay for the ones we wanted. Another year and another great photo.

Julie has taken pictures at our daughter's birthday parties the past three years, and we look…read moreforward to having her come back every year. She's so warm, friendly, and personable that she feels like part of the family now. It would feel wrong not to have her there! The great thing about Julie is that she doesn't push her idea of what would make a good shoot on you. She lets you be you and captures the moments, natural and unposed. She has a great feel for what makes a good picture, and she'll always load you down with tons of great shots to pick from after she's done. Her camera work is impeccable, and I love the options she offers for preserving the special moments she captures, like the photo books she offers. We picked Julie after having a bad experience with another photographer for our daughter's first birthday. That photographer insisted in posing us according to her vision, with the result that we all felt stiff, unnatural, and pressured. It didn't help that the first photographer insisted on having us wear clothes we were uncomfortable in and made insensitive comments about our weight and appearance. I wondered if all professional photographers were like that, which made me approach Julie with some trepidation. But she turned out to be the complete opposite of what we had that first year. She made us feel relaxed and happy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, or a better photographer. She's great at what she does, and she's a terrific person to boot. I recommend her 100 percent.

Oh my goodness....what would I have done without Angie...(and Paul, of course)! I was married…read moreabout a week ago, and my husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about Angie & Paul. But let me try: From the moment I met Angie, I knew she was "the one." Sounds like a love story, doesn't it? :) What I have learned about myself through the process of planning a wedding, is that I am very "type A" and really needed people working with me that could wrangle me in, calm me down, embody my vision, and do it with confidence. That is Angie. She is a little ball of positive energy, and she makes you believe that it's all gonna be alright. Paul is like her anchor. He is more of a calm, artistic spirit, and the two of them together is pure magic. The day of my wedding, we had a few last-minute snags, and I wasn't thrilled.... Angie could read it all over my face, and just took charge, told us to essentially "take 5" and gave us some precious time alone together before the ceremony. I still think it was those few minutes that saved the day for me! We got to scarf down a snack, sip on a drink, and charge our batteries before walking down that aisle. Our wedding was a wild ride and Angie and Paul were there to capture each moment, while hanging out with my friends, and genuinely having a great time. They LOVE what they do, and it shows in every click of their camera. On top of doing an amazing job for our wedding, Angie made the long (traffic-filled) trek to our Rehearsal Dinner as well!! I seriously felt like Angie was a cross between a photographer, and a wedding planner, because she was just present- she took good care of us, and she did it with such a genuine, enthusiastic attitude. Looking back at our wedding, we would hire Angie and Paul over and over again- they are the BEST!!!!
