The office staff seems to handle things well and no one seems busy in the least. However, I have spent months calling and emailing trying to get the next stages of care for my kids set up without any reply. Finally I got a randomly sent (not in response to my emails) reply about setting up care, and was able to connect with someone. Set up the appointment needed for my youngest. They knew what type of appointment it was because they quoted me the price for it, and it was not a cleaning. Forty minutes before the appointment, when I have spent days prepping my autistic kid for the break in routine, I get a call asking why I'm coming in and saying the treatment is no longer needed. It was implied that I had made a regular cleaning appointment, which I 1) did not do, and 2) those are covered by our insurance and would not have cost anything. I was frustrated that my child missed out on this treatment due to the office's lack of communication with me, and I shared as much. Not a single apology. I was told they could see that they had returned "a call" and had not been able to leave me a voicemail. I called multiple times, have never had problems with voicemail not working, and had also emailed asking to set up services, which were not replied to. I cannot recommend this office for dental care. I feel awful that I let it go this long; I should have moved on after a few weeks of nonresponse instead of waiting a few months. I just thought we could get back on track with them. I don't believe they want our business and we will move on.

I hate that I did not listen to the other reviews…read more I visited this dentist for a routine cleaning and examination because she was in network with my insurance. During the appointment, she briefly pointed to something on my X-rays but never clearly explained what she saw, what the diagnosis was, or what treatment she was recommending. She began numbing my mouth and proceeded with significant drilling without first walking me through the procedure. When she finished, I had to ask, "Did you fill a cavity?" She simply answered, "Yeah," and continued talking about unrelated things. I left the appointment without a clear understanding of what had been found or exactly what had been done. Once the numbness wore off, the tooth felt rough and uneven, with something hanging from the bottom that I could feel with my tongue. I returned to my regular dentist. He smoothed and corrected the area. He told me that he had not seen a cavity on his recent X-rays, although he acknowledged that it was possible she found something that had not been visible before. He also told me the new pain could have resulted from the drilling and that I might eventually need a root canal if it did not resolve. It has now been 6months, and the tooth is still bothering me. I had never experienced pain in that tooth before this appointment. The dentist also recommended crowns for all of my teeth and submitted an estimate to my insurance, which later appeared on my Explanation of Benefits. I was never given a clear explanation for why such extensive treatment was necessary, especially since I had no pain, visible damage, loose teeth, or other known problems. I cannot speak to her motives, but I can speak to my experience. I did not feel properly informed, I did not feel included in decisions about my treatment, and I am still dealing with pain that began after the procedure. I do not recommend this dentist.

If you experience even the slightest amount of stress or anxiety about dental care, let this review…read moreserve as a warning: do not book an appointment with Dr. Laura Sasic Lalich. I am 33 years old and five months pregnant. I have severe dental anxiety stemming from traumatic experiences with dental care throughout my life. Going to the dentist is the only situation that causes me to have panic attacks. Even booking an appointment can result in sleepless nights, crying, hyperventilation, and heart palpitations. It is extremely distressing and has led to a pattern of avoiding dental care until I have an urgent problem. I was referred to Dr. Laura after developing dental and gum complications exacerbated by pregnancy. The purpose of this appointment was to determine what was wrong and whether treatment could safely wait until after I give birth or if anything required more immediate attention. The administrative staff and dental assistants were kind and professional. Unfortunately, my interaction with Dr. Laura could not have been more different. I explained my history and the severity of my dental anxiety to Dr. Laura. I also explained that, when I am not pregnant, my PCP will typically prescribe a single dose of Valium to help me tolerate dental appointments. I was not asking Dr. Laura to prescribe anything. Nevertheless, she immediately dismissed what I shared, stating that she does not "believe in being medicated" for "those types of things." During the exam and X-rays, I began having a panic attack. In my previous experiences, dental professionals have been able to recognize my visible physical distress and allow me a brief break. Dr. Laura, however, ignored my visible distress and continued giving me instructions and commands. Because her hands were in my mouth, I could not communicate what was happening. I eventually had no choice but to sit up, repeatedly apologize for the "disruption," and ask for a break. After I requested a break multiple times without receiving any meaningful response, I stated that I needed to go outside for fresh air. Once the panic attack subsided, I returned and allowed her to finish the examination. Afterward, Dr. Laura reviewed the X-rays but did not meaningfully explain her recommended treatment plan or answer the central question that brought me there. Instead, she asked my age and stated, "My advice is that, at your age, you need to just get over this." When I asked whether she had ever had a patient experience a panic attack, she said yes and then promptly reminded me that she is "not a psychiatrist." She also told me I needed to "learn to sit in the chair and behave." A healthcare professional telling a visibly distressed, pregnant patient with a disclosed trauma history to "get over it" and "behave" is not merely insensitive. It is demeaning, callous, and profoundly unprofessional. I was not asking her to prescribe medication, provide therapy, hold my hand, coddle me, or excuse inappropriate behavior. I was asking for basic human decency: acknowledgment that I was experiencing genuine distress and a brief opportunity to regain my composure. Instead, I was treated as though my panic attack were an irritating behavioral problem and as though I were a misbehaving child rather than an adult patient seeking help. Her complete lack of empathy was disturbing. I ultimately left before the conclusion of the appointment without receiving a clear explanation of the treatment plan I came there to discuss. The experience was humiliating, degrading, and a complete nightmare. I would not recommend Dr. Laura to anyone. Not only those with dental anxiety, panic attacks, or dental trauma, but also anyone with the perfectly reasonable expectation that their healthcare provider will treat them like a human being rather than an inconvenience. Thank you, Dr. Laura, for reinforcing every fear that made it so difficult for me to seek dental care in the first place and for adding yet another traumatic dental experience to the list!

Dr. Douleh is professional, a good listener, an expert at his craft and is confident in his abilities. Ms. Patricia was the dental assistant who helped Dr. Douleh today with my services. Their professional interactions and his tone of voice when providing directions to the dental assistant validated the respect Dr. Douleh has for his team and the clients he is privileged to care for. Thank you for a great experience today. I was a bit apprehensive but after praying I trusted the team and my services went well. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the front desk team: Tara, Cindy, and Ms. Chantal (office manager); and of course, Bree, my dental hygienist. Thank you to all for keeping the office and bathroom clean, welcoming and professional. Sincerely, Michelle M.
