It reminded me of my childhood doctor's office so despite my frequent medical anxiety, felt right at home. There also aren't beaming LED light fixtures, but instead a nice lamplight and ambient sunlight from outside, inducing a calm environment. The staff in the front running the desk and the office flow are the absolute sweetest, and they go above and beyond for their patients. When I first called to book my new client appointment, I had a bit of trouble gathering my information, and the sweet lady mentioned I could give her a call back later. She had also mentioned I could call regularly to move my appointment up if I desired an earlier appointment. Not even five minutes later, she called me back and told me she verified my insurance and that I didn't need to worry about giving a call. Fast-forward a month and a half, and I meant to call to attempt to get my appointment moved up, but one of the ladies in the front rang me first! Informed me she could get me in next week. What amazing care! I have never experienced that, and I felt listened to, respected, and honored. Dr. Winegar very obviously cares about his patients, despite having to learn new technologies in his office. He listened, acknowledged, and respected opposing opinions from me regarding certain topics. He ran through the works to make sure I understood where he was coming from and what he was saying, as well as ordered up everything to make sure I was taken care. His, my, nurse helping out was an absolute doll and mitigated the stress and anxiety I was feeling. I have never had a referral happen so quickly! They had an appointment available Monday morning. Check in was quick and easy, done in just over a minute. We were called in at the appointment time. The nurse asked some questions and looked at my son's toe that was giving him some trouble. She advised what she though the treatment options would be. Dr. Thomas came in just a couple minutes later and said the same thing the nurse did. He gave us our options. I made a decision but my son was very scare of the shot and the procedure. Dr. Thomas was amazingly patient while my son had his freak out. He remained calm and tried to help me to get my son to understand what needed to be done and why. This took a good 15 minutes, but in the end Dr. Thomas did the procedure. It was over pretty quickly and my son became interested in the procedure. He answered all my son's questions about what he was doing, what tools he used, anything my son was curious about. I am truly shocked at how nice the nurse and Dr. Curt Thomas were.
