Daniel Ebroon is not only a master technician specializing in cosmetic and corrective eye surgery, he is also a very special man. He is caring and friendly with a smile and wonderful bedside manner. I have had eye bags coupled with flaps and folds covering both eyes for too many years. I wanted to find a cosmetic eye surgeon to take away the saddle bags under both my eyes and to open my eyes wider and excise the flaps and folds so my periferal vision improves. I visited Dr. Ebroon's office in Thousand Oaks, California and after a complete examination he told me he could improve my ability to see from the sides of my eyes and eliminate a good deal of the puffiness under my eyes and above my eyelids. The surgery is called blepharoplasty and includes upper and lower eyelids. Two months later I decided to bite the bullet and set up the surgery and am I thrilled I decided to have the surgery. A couple of weeks later I went to a fabulous surgical center in Westlake Village just five minutes from my home. The people at this center could not have been anymore gracious, helpful or empathetic. I felt like a king with all these terrific people there only for my comfort and my surgery. After being prepped for surgery with an IV for anesthesia I was taken to a surgical room where Dr. Ebroon took measurements and then IV sedation was administered by an anesthesiologist. Within seconds I was out cold and didn't awaken until I was in the recovery room. I had numbing medication administered by Dr. Ebroon so when I awoke I had no pain. I was significantly bruised and swollen when I awoke but had no significant pain. When I got home I immediately started icing my eyes and face. I continued icing every twenty minutes which helped bring down the swelling. The pain was pretty bad for the next two weeks. I am unable to take any pain medication because of a condition I have. I assure you being able to take anti inflammatory drugs would have made my recovery far easier. I'm attaching before and after pictures so you can see the magnificent work Dr. Ebroon performed. Within a month my eyes were wide open, the flaps removed and the saddlebags were almost completely eliminated. Dr. Ebroon's staff is extremely friendly and professional. I would be remiss if I didn't give a big shoutout to the gorgeous and wonderful surgery coordinator Loredona. Thanks for being so gracious and accommodating scheduling my surgery. read more

DO NOT USE!!!! STAY CLEAR!!!!! I went to this office because Dr. John Davidson did my Cataract Surgery and was AMAZING!!!! To bad this guy is ruining his reputation. I went there because I had 3 little skin tags near my eyes and my dermatologist said I had to go to an eye surgeon. I asked this doctor how much it would be and all he said was " not to worry"! Then they put me in this small, cold makeshift surgery room, the nurse put drops in my eyes to "numb them", told me they'd be right back and left me for over 45 minutes ALONE! I heard someone talking and started saying "Hello, hello". This lovely nurse came in, apologized on their behalf, gave me a blanket and then told me I could open my eyes!!!!! I was so upset and shocked to think this other nurse just left me with no concern! Then the creme de la creme' is they billed Medicare $650.00 for the 20 second removal of 3 skin tags (via zapped off) and $90.00 for "Eye Photography"!!!!! My eyes look great - no complaints there. However, I have been trying to pay my bill since July, 2021. Their billing department is the worst I have ever experienced. No one can take my Alphaeon credit card and charge my balance, even though I personally drove to the office three times since my surgery. They have changed billing companies twice and to this day (Mar, 2022) I still am unable to settle my account. Now they sent my balance to collections and are charging me interest. I am able to pay, no problem, but I keep getting passed around with the response, "oh that's not my responsibility, you'll have to call billing." I called four times, No calls back or I get a call back and no one knows what to do. Amazing. Frustrating. And for this reason alone, I have not and will not recommend Dr. Ebroon or his office - Conejo Valley and Simi Eye Center. read more

Dr. Ebroon has a wonderful reputation but my last visit was a disaster. I arrived early for my 9:45 appointment and checked in with the desk. After 45 minutes I became concerned and when I inquired they told me that they misplaced my chart and I would be next. Everyone who came into the office after me was already treated. I finally got called after one hour and then I sat in the treatment room for another 30 minutes. My husband texted me from the lobby and suggested that we just leave. The representative at the desk told my irate husband that the doctor spends time with his patients and sometimes falls behind. I got up and began to leave when Dr. Ebroon finally came in to treat me. He spent exactly five minutes with me. Waiting for an hour and a half is totally unacceptable. We all have lives, not just Dr. Ebroon. I will never go back. read more

I went in today for a stye removal with Dr. Ebroon. My appointment was at 9am, and i was in and out by 9:45am! This includes filling out paperwork as I'm a new patient, then meeting with the nurse, meeting with the doctor and talking about the procedure, then being prepped for the surgery, numbing, anesthesia, and the actual procedure all took less than an hour. This isn't to say they rushed through it. Everyone was just so professional and on top of things. Dr. Ebroon explained everything in detail, and did such a smooth job during the procedure. It was my first time here and I was a bit hesitant as I've had another similar procedure done in the past with another doctor who did a horrible job and left a scar. So I'm very pleased with Dr. Ebroon and his team at Conejo-Simi Eye Medical group and will be going back should I need an ophthalmologist in the future. read more

I gave four stars because I was always skeptical of any elective surgery until meeting Dr. Ebroon. He is so caring and his staff is wonderful. I had both my upper and lower eyes done with YES no pain. I didn't even have to take Tylenol. I am now 7 weeks out and look great. There is still a little swelling from the lower but no one can tell. I went for my final check up yesterday and he told me I do not have to come back but his door is always open for questions etc. That means a lot to me. Dr. Ebroon performed an exceptional upper and lower eye lid surgery on me 6 months ago. yes I needed a tiny touch up on 3 tiny spots on one lid which he removed quickly and painlessly yesterday. This was to be expected since I know I scar easily and I get those white bumps around my eyes sometimes. I have had to remove them before. Just a coincidence that they were along the suture line? My eyes look beautiful. My friends say I look healthy and rested. The deep dark circles under my eyes are gone thanks to Dr. Ebroon's special technique. My upper lids no longer droop. One side was much worse and he evened them out. I had no complications after surgery, everything went as he explained. Dr Ebroon did a great job, not too much, just looks perfectly natural. Dr. Ebroon and I go back over Twenty years. I started having dryness in my eyes and had another Dr for years , but he did address the serious issue of my eyes and gave me a prescription which caused me extreme pain and redness. A friend and plastic surgeon recommended Dr Ebroon . I went to him and he was in shock of the condition my eyes were in . Drying of the eyes from lack of tears is a disease common in all ages. Also can with age have the lower lids droop so the eyes can not close tightly when sleeping. He addressed it with months of close care and watch with antibiotics . As time pasted they felt better and healing . Later we decussed that using over the corner eye drops were a constant replying all the time. . So I decide to redo the the lower lids tighter . He did a outstanding surgery and did not change the shape of my eyes and healed quickly with no problems . . Also with Dr Ebroon he takes his time to discuss every thing and listens to your needs and questions and further concerns. We talked and decided to use eye plugs to help keep the moisture to stay longer in my eyes and reduced me from using over the counter eye drops . Which can be very costly . When I started going to Dr Ebroon I lived in Woodland Hills area . However we have moved to Carmel Cal near SF. I have found new replacements for my other Dr's , but my family Dr. and Dr Ebroon I will not change. I drive 51/2 hrs in a day every three months to see him to replace my plugs and stay over and drive back . He is worth the long drive. Dr. Ebroon has with my request also to take over other procedures that I was having by my plastic surgeon as Botox, and fillers. He is amazing and has helped keep me looking young outside to match how I feel inside . "He is so gifted ." There aren't enough words to say how wonderful and caring he is towards his patients and staff. This staff and team are so warm and caring and welcoming .
