Sooooo Dr. Miller had to conduct surgery on my last year for a tumor removal from my left breast…read more I was not please, due to tissue and ANOTHER piece of tumor that was left. I spoke up for myself when they asked how my service was. This was a YEAR AGO The SAME receptionist called me today while I was in a closing (I'm a Realtor) Saying " hey, I'm calling because we got a Referal for you to take out your gallbladder. . But according to my records you make a compliant about dr milers service" I said yes , and started to explain why but that doesn't even matter !! (If I could choose my surgeon I would, joys of Medicaid) She persisted to tell me that I still complained about my last experience. I THEN stated that at this point I'm in so much pain it doesn't even matter. I've been trying to get my gallbladder removed for a year now. Then she replies .." well I don't think you'll be pleased with his services this time if you didn't like last time" I asked when was the next availability and she says... WE DONT HAVE ANY. So why call me ? Why bother me ? Why say "I remember you calling saying you wasn't satisfied". Basically , she called me to say that I wasn't gonna be able to get into the office because of that and sent me on my way to continue to be in pain Not sure whyyyyy she still called and I did ask. Cause what was the nature of this call suppose to be ? I'm not surprised. This is in Abbeville. Moral of the story. If you have time to call a patient about something like this then that means y'all too slow and must have the time on y'all hands to just call and bother everyone who has a voice for their self. DONT EVER BACK DOWN FROM ANYONE OR ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION YOU KNOW YOUR BODY BETTER THAN ANYONE !!

One day in 2001 I woke up with a sore left wrist. I figured I'd slept on it weird and didn't worry…read moretoo much about it. Weeks passed and the pain wasn't going away. I seemed to also be losing control of it somewhat. It was almost a daily occourance for me to drop and break glasses and dishes. One day I was getting ready for work. I had a pump style hair spray bottle in my left hand poised and ready to lock my locks into place and just...could not do it. My finger physically could not push down on the trigger without my whole hand and wrist recioling in excruciating pain. An MRI confirmed that I had a condition known as Keinbock's Diease, a very rare condition where the blood supply is cut off to the lunate bone, one of the small bones inside of the wrist. There are various reasons this can happen, but it's mostly found in patients with blood disorders or previous trama to the wrist. My case fell into the latter. All of the gymnastics I *tried* and the kart wheels all summer long with my sisters in our front yard did me in all these years later. Months pass. I became my condition. I poured over every orthopedic journal, book, website I could find that had any mention of my particular condition. In the meantime I was making appointments with every orthopedic surgeon I could find, since I knew surgery was my only option at recovery. You see, your bones need blood to stay alive and function properly. My lunate bone was black on the MRI...nearly dead. I was very close to completely losing the use of my left hand. Because my condition was so rare many of the orthopedic surgeons I saw had either never heard of it or only vaguely knew anything about it. It was a very disheartening time in my life. I had been raised to trust doctors and think of them on a bit of an elevated level because of their ability to heal and here I was, feeling like I knew more than they did sometimes with no answer, though, what I could do to fix my wrist myself. At this point I'm hopeless and scared. I have yet another appointment with a new orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Kathleen Robertson. She walked in, smiled, looked at my wrist and wiped the tear that had started to roll down my face away and made a joke about how I was ruining my pretty makeup with my tears. She assured me that we would figure it out and fix it. It didn't happen overnight but she found another surgeon who had a patient like me and had preformed a surgery where he rerouted a vein and it worked for him, so why not me? She made no promises but I had nothing to lose at that point so hey why not? I'll spare you guys with the gory surgery details and aftermath. Months of physical therapy followed, but guess what? That surgery worked. I now how full use of my left hand again. I owe that all to this woman. Without her I wouldn't have been able to pick up my babies and embrace them. Without her I wouldn't be typing this with both hands. Because of her I have faith in doctors again. **100**

I use yelp to look up numbers frequently and today was looking my daughter's pediatrician's number…read more(Brooke Bock) after my phone crashed. I found only one review for her and am in total shock over the negitivity. My entire husbands family and extended family uses Dr. Bock equating to around 10 kids and 20 adults I know personally that use her who are all approving of not only her knowledge but as well as her bedside manner and kindness she displays to not only her patients but their family's. My daughter is currently 16 months. I was recommended by a woman I met in St. Francisville before I gave birth. Being close by and remembering that I knew others that use her we put her down as our pediatrician at the hospital and after the first visit we haven't looked back. Dr. Bock has not only been knowledgeable about every topic we bring up but does indeed like to give her first hand accounts about her own personal experiences in her own life. To me this adds a personal connection and has allowed our trust to deepen in our Dr-patient/parent relationship. As for the front staff, I have had a few minor complaints since we started seeing her at Dr. Pats office. Being a busy clinic I feel later in the day some of the staff can seem a little frazzled, although I've seen great improvement in our most recent visits. The up front staff is Dr. Pats staff and have been there for years, whileist Dr. Bock has only moved there within the past year. Her personal staff seems to include two nurses, who have both been amazing in making my daughter comfortable while sick, getting shots or even if we had a longer wait. All in all, I can't imagine having an experience here as the other reviewer discribed. I'm also not sure how any claims took over a year as Dr. Bock just made a year at this clinic. But I'm happy to share my experiences with her and am looking forward to the years to come!

Had appt. Here & Seen dr. Brooke Bock. Office staff had no idea what they were doing, but things…read morewere even worse when we met. Dr. Bock, she was rude, arrogant, and just a out right snob. She was not medically or text booked knowledgeable, she just used herself as a example. Worse Dr. I ever met, just did not care at all. we never went back. It took her a almost yr. To file the claim so I was billed because it was a new yr and new deductible. Complete ignorance!
